A Mario tutorial where I tell you how to get your mario from low gsp, into elite smash. So you can have an Elite smash mario, I hope if I keep saying elite smash and mario then the algorithm will love me.

As someone who exists solely within the 2 mil GSP range, I can confirm that this is NOT what low GSP looks like in America. People are shielding, grabbing, comboing at 2 mil

Its probably time of day. Im in low gsp with a few of my favorites, and when I play late at night, everyone is a little more sweaty. I'm not sure, but that might be it.

I was gonna say this, 3 mil gsp in Australia is like lvl 3 CPU’s. Some people in the 3 mil range in the us are actually really good.

There's definitely a difference in skill level based on what time it is, in my experience. I catch way easier opponents in the early, early morning than any other time.

Interesting idea for unlocking characters if the series is meant to continue.....what if Jordan ends every episode doing a quick battle to see who the game allows him to unlock? It adds intrigue and mystery to who could be next!

The funny thing is that jordan puts so much attention into spacing and punishing. How can he be a bad kazuya?

@@rubiks8975 s Spacing doesn't mean much when you can't use the correct moves to take advantage of it. Poppt1 really struggles getting the move he wants, or just finding the correct move. He ends up smash attacking three times in a row out of desperation, and that's hardly optimal Kazuya.

The next episode of this series should switch up the character type again - maybe a heavy (DK or plant), or a zoner (Samus, banjo, Steve)

2:19 Charizard used to get jab locked out of Flare Blitz tumble in Smash 4. In Ult, they changed it so any hit that’d lock would only prop him up instead

I think that most low level players lack a good neutral or have really bad neutral habits, that's why i think you should do Lucina, very simple character and very neutral centered

I believe everyone should play lucina for a bit she can help you do things like edge guard and simple things you don't have to main her just play her to learn things

I always love these videos of Jordan playing these characters/characters with a playstyle and going in-depth giving examples of what you need to do in a real matchup situation. Also the character we need tips on is Kazuya. ;)

I’m really liking this series. This was very helpful as I’m trying to take my Mario to the intermediate level. Also, I would say pick an archetype that you want to play and then just see who fits the bill roster wise

I love these videos and how you dissect other players bad habits. Like it’s so eye opening. Cause it’s not just like “oh they roll on ledge every time” bad habits, it’s like “oh they attack then shield” like it’s not just one button bad habits, it’s a small sequence that you are able to sought out and to me that is really interesting how you see it, exploit it and you do it like really fast. Like it takes me a couple of games to see bad habits and I never see like those neutral bad habits. It’s usually ledge options or rolls.

Thanks for the video, I really needed this. I struggle to win any match within 3-5 mil since in America people are actually pretty good at that range. I am the definition of casual, but I want to start getting more into competitive smash. Could you maybe do one for Bowser? He's the character that I want to get into elite smash, but I struggle so much. Loved the video, keep up the good work.

I think if you do another combo heavy character, especially one like Mario, you should do a little bit of explanation of how to play them and some combos rather than just explaining others' bad habits. Still a great video as always!

Mario is giving me so much trouble, i've resorted to use items... T_T i GENUINELY hope that you will do every characters. deeply! you should do it in rows. from left to right, every characters in order ^^

To unlock all the characters quickly is fighting an unlock battle, lose, then go to games and more and you can go into the gate icon that shows up and you can just fight every character in a row without playing hours

You should do different archetypes, youce down 2 rushdown combos. Maybe a heavy, a swordie, a zoner next? or better idea, do pokemon trainer. 3 Characters in one and multiple archytpes in one squirtle is a rushdown combo, ivysaur is really mix of a lot, he has a good projectile, good combos, and is good at killing, and charizard is a classic heavy.

So unrelated but Im 1000 hours into this game and I am only just now realizing that you dont have to wait for the dash animation to stop before you can shield, you can just shield mid dash without returning the stick to neutral and just shield immediately...

I suggest you do a video where you and one of the underdogs, or holly, unlock all the characters on the account, good vid and you can continue this series easier. Also I suggest either doing a really easy character like DK or do like a hard character and play ice climbers so we can watch you suffer.

You should do DK next, showing people how to play heavies would be very interesting since they have such a high risk high reward factor with their large hit boxes but hard hits

I love this series and would like to see Donkey Kong. Considering how everyone seems to be able to mess DK up would love to see some tips on how to climb GSP with him

This heavily depends on what GSP you are at. If you are below 5million I would say its more game knowledge and less DK specific. Meanwhile if you are in between 5-7million I would say learn how to really take advantage of DKs advantage state. 7-9million you have to learn how to adapt and punish your opponents, since winning neutral with heavies are generally just hard. When you are at 9million and above its usually minor things that is hard to pindown yourself while playing. I recommend watching the games you lost then to see why you lost and try learning from that. Hopefully this helped a bit, if you want any more help just comment and I’ll try to help. Hard to give specific tips when I dont know the GSP you are at 😅
