nah, maybe he's planning to have him as a secondary also marth's a good counterpick against mario and byleth is better for him against acola than marth

It's almost like we're playing Smash Ult in 2023 and not 2019 when we're all much better at the game and Marth isn't "less consistent" Lucina anymore - funny! I jest, naturally, but realistically, Marth has always become better with time. As the game gets figured out, and we find ways of capitalising off of certain hits (notice stock 2 where Leo kills Mario off of a combo at 35%), and ways to microspace better (we aren't just mashing dash dances anymore in 2023, we have slingshots etc), Marth just becomes a scarier character to face. Sure, Lucina will always be a nicer character to use in a tournament setting because she's easier to play because the skill celing is much lower. The only thing stopping people using Marth is how difficult he is to use at the side of her. I would argue he's just as good as her, and people like Leo, Kreeg and Ignaize are showing it. @@Fruitman1997I took the Marth pill two years ago. I'm taking one of your stocks at 50%. Leo needs to go for sour up air to tipper forward smash. That shit is true between about 25-35%. It's my fav. confirm lately beside tipper down smash to tipper forward smash. On heavies sour nair combos into tipper foward smash at about 30%. People just do not know how many confirms this dude has that you cannot DI out of. He is freakin' insanely good. I mained Lucina and Chrom before Marth and now I only play Marth. I'm working on that set up Ignaize did on Goblin. If you haven't seen that OMG.

That set up was godlike and it's actually optimal. ​@@AnenLaylle7023 Marth > Lucina by next year.
