What to do to get great video quality on your Canon T2i/550D.
1. Keep your settings on manual controls.
2. 1080p resolution and 24fps.
3. Shutter speed should always double your fps
4. Keep your ISO as low as possible. 1600 is as large as you should go.
5. Lower aperture gives you a shallower depth of field and a sharper image.
6. Invest in a fast prime lense, 50mm 1.8 is great.
7. Custom white balance, makes a HUGE difference. I'll post a tutorial on how to do this shortly.
8. Shoot your videos as flat as you can and color grade them afterwards. Technicolor cinestyle and Marvels both offer great free ways to do this.

9. Color grade your footage. This is one of the best ways to completely customize what your film will look like.
10. Keep your highlight tone priority disabled and your auto lighting optomizer to standard.
Another thing to keep in mind, I didn't mention this in the video, but having good lighting really helps as well.
