@Ale L You really nailed it with that last sentence. you say you're losing faith, but i think once you understand that no contact is for you to heal, not for them to come back, you're going to be fine. it's okay to be sad, it just means you're processing the loss. personally, i'd recommend meditation for times when anxiety is overwhelming.

I have same setback when I reconnect and fight with my ex, finally a year and a half later, I have been able to let go.

@@TheDepiano thank you for your kind words! We were married for 20 years (still are actually). One day he confessed that he cheated and don’t love me any longer… I asked him to leave. That happened half a year ago. My spouse does feel the guilt and I guess is consistently trying to compensate it in some way. But this does not help. It is more of a pain to see and hear from him than not to. The worst part is that we have a son together and I do feel guilty that I did not protect him from this trauma. And because of the son I can’t remove him from my life completely. I kind of suspect it would have been easier to heal otherwise. We are also in good relation with my mother in law. She also took this very hard at her. She is not young and her health seems to have been impacted by what happened between us. Though we kind of tried to keep it civil between us. So what happened hurt many people around, not just me

@@ianmcnally8501 how long have you been together? We don’t really fight since we parted… we did before… sometimes it is hard to keep it calm and not create some drama but I keep myself in hands. Not easy

You're not alone, 25 days in and all I want to do is text her when I'm not occupied mostly at night before bed, keep going strong we got this! Just remind yourself you're already 20 days in and if you contact them it resets back to 0, and you'll have to feel worse for longer, that's how I go about it

I've been in no contact for 38 days now, i must say the first 3 weeks was hell. But it gets better with time you'll be fine

Same boat. On NC for 16 days now... I know it's still too soon. But I'm more hopeless as I am also blocked from everywhere. But there isn't much to do other than NO contact.

I’ve seen people come back after years. So keep working on yourself so you can be ready when they’re back. By then you might not even want them back anymore

Why are you exchanging gifts if she’s broken up with you? She is getting the best of both worlds. Saying she’s confused yet seeing you in her own terms, till she is really over you! Give her the gift of your absence and silence till she realise what she has lost.. and comes chasing you. Trust me she will be knocking on your door. Don’t contact her till she say she want you back.. right now she’s playing with your emotions.

@@lar_akhan5671 We both had these gifts before the break up. Tbh I just wanna get it over with. She reaches out during times with direct indirect reasons. Once we see each other after not seeing each other for nearly 3 weeks , I'll know all I need to know. She's no gold digger so it's not about wanting anything. Her gifts are always quality and well thought of. We're just in a bad spot and I really messed up with emotional abuse. She calls me up crying and angry randomly. At times I feel like she's toying with me too. But once these gifts get exchanged and we see each other I'm going underground. I'll make sure I look good and smell good as always. She's definitely attracted to me and even gets jealous to this day. I hate this feeling smh.

@@mrkeitt I had a vacation and celebrations planned prior to the BU. But when they broke up; those things automatically fell away. The comfort and benefits of a relationship FALL all the way off when those break up lines are drawn. Your situation is even more sensitive because as a man confidence is key to rebuilding attraction, I know you feel guilty but if you have apologised you needed to keep your distance. If you give in to expectations, she loses attraction because she is calling the shots and she got you. Relief stage will be prolonged. You should spend Xmas with those who did not dump you.

@@nbee6217 We spoke today for 2hrs. She explained to me how much I've been hurting her from berating her and just all out ruining good vibes. I didn't realize how much damage I did til we broke up. She wants me back for sure an shows all the signs. She just doesn't want that version of me. I'm in therapy now going on 3 weeks and I'm happy to be doing so for myself. She's an amazing woman and I've never met anyone like her in all my life. Being with scandalous, sneaky, and toxic women for years ruined my perception a bit. I'm not saying she's without fault. But I'm man enough to admit I've played a huge role in this. The fact that she hasn't blocked me , still reaches out direct indirect, sends me pictures of her, cries out of anger, and tells me she wants me but just not this means a lot. We're spending time with each other this weekend and I'm just gonna play it cool and respect her vibes. She wants to come back and even in so many words told how to do it. I'm a good dude and got a lot going for myself and she knows I'm a catch. I just have to chill tf out a bit and I value her enough to do so.

Know how you feel, we had a disagreement on FT and he said he was going end the convo b4 he said something he didn’t mean , said He Loved Me and Goodnight, I of course didn’t know about any of these videos so I text him, no reply , waited 4 days, sent a video message , no reply and now I Am going on 45 days of NC, Been working on me and my own stuff, haven’t heard a word, still confused but keep pushing thru each day! It’s been awhile since your post so hope your doing better.

The breakup hurt alot but i am so much happier now and i learned alot. Yesterday she ask me via a friend for a receipt i cooked Back than. I still Like her and she was a important Person in my past, but i would never go into a relationship with her ever again, cause i realised that we are too different

I'm sorry to hear this. I'm at 14 months. I see success stories where the relationship wasn't as long, wasn't at the same commitment level, treated each other worse, they broke up multiple times, and they get back together. Yet some of us don't get one chance, even after all the work.

I'm so excited my relationship was fixed back ❤️❤️again my ex is back to me we loving and happily together, I got help from a great woman ❤️

I would respond by saying "who is this"? You should never get back together with someone who dumped you if they have been away so long or dating other people afterward - you are only a backup plan or 2nd choice.
