They ask for the Turkish sponsor's address registration in Turkey before giving residence permit. When you move to turkey, he can register his address in turkey and you can apply for residence permit. We can give residence permit application service. Small question. My husband and I have been together for over a year and got married on June 8, 2023 in Türkiye . I applied for my family residence permit and my appointment is on July 4, 2023 in Kuşadası. My husband earns more than 11,500 Turkish lira per month (he work for a American company ) and his salary will increase from July. In my case I am a distance student in a school in France and I receive a pension of 400 euros by my father. (more than 11500 Turkish lira) The immigration office told me, that it was enough for me to show them my last three (translated) bank statements (to show that I am receiving the pension paid by my father every month ). My question is : Is this enough? And do we know during the appointment if our application is accepted? I am French and my husband is Turkish Thank you for the answer

I had my last tree month translated from bank statements and they show that I receive a pension of more than 11000 Turkish lira ( March, April, May, June) . I really hope everything goes well. I spent my immigration appointment in Kuşadası with my husband. They told us that the documents were good and that there was no problem and they told us that I would receive my family residence permit card at my home in 2 to 3 weeks. I was sent to the tax office and I paid a tax in addition and in exchange gave me a paper with a Turkish identity number (TKCN) and was explained to me that this number was extremely important because it was my identity in Turkey now. I'm sorry if my question sounds silly. Does this mean that I will receive my residence permit card soon ? Does this mean that my application was accepted? For a foreigner new in turkey, there is no silly question :) Turkish id number is a 11 digit number that starts with "99........" for foreigners. You can check your residence permit result online at e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr
@@BurakUnal1 On the ikamet website, I had the answer that my request was accepted and that my papers were in print, I was able to download a paper that shows that the validation has taken place and that I can use this paper while waiting to receive my card. But on this paper my foreign id number starts with "98..." has 11 digits. Does this mean that I have obtained my residence permit? And why does my foreign id number start with "98"? My visa is for only 30 days and i need to register for marriage and apply for residence permit is that much time sufficient do they allow me to live longer if apply for residence permit and my visa is over?

Hello, the answer depends on the immigration officer who will review your file. Some are ok with doing residency application before marriage. Some are not ok. You can get married faster in the remote areas of Istanbul. There isn't much queue in Umraniye, Sile, Catalca, etc.
