When you prune again latter, were your grape buds are at, say thats mid May. Prune 2 or 3 nodes in front of your clusters about 4rth if July and you'll make more grapes. Every prune in front of your grapes at least 2 nodes on the stem, will allways make more grapes!

You should do a follow up on how this went! Trying to get my grapes to produce in chandler AZ. One puny cluster that shriveled up this year.

Jake - Perhaps you can do a video on your Dragon Fruit? I catch glimpses of it in the background of some of your videos and am curious to know about it. It looks like it has grown quite a bit since the first time I saw it in one of your garden tours.

Thanks for sharing!! I was in John 15 reading about how Jesus is the Vine and the Father is the vine dressing. I thought to look up on RU-vid to gain knowledge of how it all works. I came across a few videos prior to yours. One told of how there is what they call a bleeding process! Which comes from pruning. That caught my attention. This is where new growth comes. I loved what you said that fruit only comes from the new growth. That caught my attention as well. Through this little research of looking on RU-vid I was excited to learn that just like the vine bleeds to produce new growth Jesus bled for us so that we can grow in Him. I also seen how that as we are pruned we produce much fruit and not only look like a Christian with all the leaves but we also bear fruit. Your video was great. Just what I needed to add to my Bible study this morning!! Thanks so much for sharing. 😊👍🎵🌷🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇

Excellent Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about - Lammywalness Green Grapes Guide (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind guide for learning how to become a successful grape grower minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend at last got cool success with it.

Thanks for posting , I have a massive grape vine , I think it a Muscadine grape vine and it been mostly used as a privacy blocker , but now I'm retired and I have more time I want to get it producing .When should I prune this vine ? I live in central Florida .

What type of fish are those tiny silvery fish that swim next to the koi's? How many grapevines do you have on your whole property and are you planning to propagate those vines via cuttings?

What fungicide do you use? I live in the Sacramento area and Copper Fungicide wasn't good enough to fight the powdery and downy mildew. I also didn't feel good about eating the leaves after spraying them so much.

Can you put concentrated tomato feed on grapevines if you mix it obviously with water would this help or hinder the plant

Muskadine!! It is middle of May, and every year my 3 large Vines have THOUSANDS of very small clusters of what appears to be infant grapes, BUT for the last 6 years these small clusters fall off by early June, with No grapes, except on a 4th Vine that is apx 10 years old. Does anyone tell me what is happening, and what I need to do?

Febuary, May and July are your pruning mounths to make grapes!

Banana trees also have to be cut down. They only produce fruit once
