Hey man thanks for the tips, I just got a eco boost and I wanted to see what to do first and well I’m glad I came around your channel, great job with your channel bro
Had mine for 4 months or so and so far I got airaid tube, UPR catch can, got CFAB intercooler on the way 😃 and new tires be here today. Slowly but surely I'll get her done one day 😊
Stock cai is the best option, with a K&N Drop in filter and air raid tube, proven to make the most power. Also unless your on a e30 tune your not over 380whp. These cars run out of fuel on 93 and knock at 380whp on 93. Other then that good video bro.
Nice video. Good info. My 2015 EcoBoost runs pretty quick. I have same Roush CAI, have a nice sound out the back coming from Flowmaster outlaw. Have throttle body spacer, resonator delete. . All in all runs good and sounds decent. The best thing I did to mine that really stepped up handling performance was changed out stock suspension., lowered my car, changed out struts and shocks. Put larger sway bars front and rear, added a strut mount brace, got rid of the crappy Perelli tires put on some Mickey's and handling is awesome. My buddy has a Porsche 911 Turbo and was impressed with my cars handling. To be honest for sound and HP I say get a V8. The power is there, so spend the money on suspension and the GT will deliver.
Just got my eco boost , I got it instead of a 5.0 cause it’s lighter , better on gas and more reliable. Trying to get into mods without spending $40k+😣😣😣 thank you for the pics
I just got a brand new 2020 mustang ecoboost and I am in love with it. I've already watched 4 of your videos and you bro have given me ideas. I'm already subbed and leaving like on every single video
Currently saving for MAPerformance intake manifold I highly recommend it since it makes the ecoboost port injected instead of direct which cleans your intake valve and helps with the nasty fouling and carbon build up anyways keep up the videos man 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Or you can go with the water/meth injector which cleans your valves out too, plus bumps your octane to race gas numbers, allowing you to add timing and boost.
I installed 2 catch cans on my ecobeast. The no boost side of the intake is the major carbon builder and catches the most carbon crap. The boost side of the intake catches a mixture that looks similar to gas. If you have a 1st or 2nd gen ecoboost catch cans should be the first upgrade as it only cost me under $100 and I did it in 15 minutes. The hardest part is deciding where I wanted to place the cans lol. No need in drilling holes, I just used the original fittings on my new vacuum lines. Just heat the old rubber hose and they will pop out easily.
Like you and your videos, but the background music is a bit loud. May not bother others, but it's not only loud but I'm sure not everyone is a fan of the beats. Great video anyways, keep up the hard work!
Nice video bro! I've got a 2017 EcoBoost and I just changed the exhaust to a magnaflow catback race series , looking forward for that mishimoto intercooler!
hey i got a 2020 ecoboost im seeing videos that it should be getting 0-60 in 5.5-6 but im getting 0-60 in 7 flat seconds so idk what am i supposed to do my engine is stock i only changed spark plugs to performance ones so idk what should i be getting next to get my power back in the engine thank youu
Question for you man, how accurate are the intake temp readings on the dash? Cause like 99% of the time my intake temps are only 3-6 degrees F over ambient on stock intercooler. How much more power can 3-6 farenheight make, you can't typically get lower than ambient even with aftermarket intercooler.
The inlet air temp on the dash is reading the temp the air at the air box. It doesn’t measure the charge air temp(after the intercooler). According to speed factory, one single 4th gear pull on the stock intercooler yielded charge air temps of 150+ degrees. With a “race” style intercooler, it should end up easily under 100 degrees on the same pull. Speed factory claims their intercooler was at 76 degrees after a 4th gear pull.
You don't even need to run on corn to make 400whp on a EBM. All you need is big turbo kit full exhaust intake manifold intercooler injectors and tune. Then just let it rip.
Hi bro . pls I want ur advice.. I have 2017 mustang ecoboost.. and I'm interested in buying the mishimoto intercooler Pipe Kit with the performance intercooler .. plus the roush cold air intake.. but from ur video you mentioned that ur turbo was damaged or having problem ..so does that means If I changed the cold air and intercooler will I face problem with my turbos in which I should also change the stock turbo? For me I'm not that interested in upgrading the performance in my car.. just want my car to run Coool with no heat issues at all.. till now I didn't face any heat issue with my stock intercooler and cold air.. nut I want want to upgrade those items in my car but I had some concerns regarding chafing the stock cd air intake and intercooler..and you also said the #5 mode is Tune... so should I also buy a tune or no need since I'm only going to make the upgrades only for cooling the car not for maximum hp or performance.. Looking forward for ur advice..thank you
I bought a moshimoto Catted Downpipe And Intercooler SR performance Charge pipes JLT intake and a Ford procal Tuner cause didn’t wanna void my warranty how much power you think I’ll gain I know with a Cobb access port I’ll definitely gain more but it’s a brand new eco with 300 miles
Bruh where you from? I’m from Covina just got my ecoboost a few months ago and gunna start doing mods soon…when you said Glendora I was like he’s local lol
What is your thoughts on a pedal box? I have heard that they are really great in removing that lag when you smash the gas down. It is supposed to remove that 1-2 second gap from hitting the gas to the car actually moving. Any thoughts anyone?
I drove 2 cars at a dealer, one had that pedal mod, I liked it but wife didn't, car with pedal box felt a lot quicker than stock one, but did had a jerk like a manual car when you would barely hit the pedal. (Ended driving to another dealer to buy a 16 ecoboost a little cheaper with lesser miles)
With all these mods, can you give us a listed of car you gapped or neck to neck. Cause I’m thinking about getting all these mods in my 2021 Mustang ecoboost
Dammm there’s a lot of cars. Not to sound cocky but there’s a lot of Honda’s mustang rs chargers scat packs challengers. Iknow there’s a lot more but I’m at work so I have to sit down and think of the cars I beat 😂
Hey man I wanna get a tune on my 2019 ecoboost but I seriously don't know which one that can go for my mect upgrades, which are going to be intercooler, downpipe, and cold air intake so i really don't wanna mess anything up.
Don't get a Cai, you don't need it and it's not worth the money. Mishimoto clone intercooler, cold gapped plugs, muffler, downpipe, drop in filter, wastegate actuator and then get a custom 93 tune and if you don't have that go e30. You can get all this for about 1000 bucks.
@@Ryan-vn6ju The Ford Tune is literally just raising some values and that's it. There's no custom tuning to it at all. Every Ecoboost that picks up that tune gets the exact same file. Sure, it'll cover your engine under warranty if you go through all the hoops, but it leaves so much on the table.
I’ve got significant upgrades and my tuner will not tune above 400 hp unless you build the engine. Apparently these engines start to crack at 400 hp and up unless you build the engine. So unless you want a rod to fly through your fire shield I’d look into that...
Was thinking about getting a EcoBoost! First thing I wanted to do is the exhaust system, I want mine to be loud and aggressive but I’m on a budget. What should I get?
Once you get your ecoboost. Take off your stock mufflers and your resonator. Then you will hear a difference. Then get your exhaust system. Then after that you will know if you want it louder or keep it like that. If you want it louder the next step will be to get a catless or catted downpipe. If you go with. Catless you will get a check engine light on.
So what is your mpg looking like with these mods more importantly how far did it go down when you installed the nx2 turbo? The main reason I bought the ecoboost was for the slightly better mpg and don't want it completely gone
Yeah how much approximately? I want an eco boost stang. I’ve had a 67, a 88 fox 5.0. I miss my stangs. I am in the middle of a Saab 95 build. Parts and tunes are pretty easy on the wallet. So far. After stage 3 I have to forge the pistons. After that the stock lower internals are good to 450+. Problem is its fwd. I wa t rear drive again. Love the car though. Good job!!
How you gonna be pushing only 360-370 with a $2500-$2600 turbo upgrade ... that made no sense lol plus all the other mods to support it. I think you got the numbers wrong my boy it’s for sure pushing more
Most tuners will not tune this above 400 hp because this engine can not handle the power. The engine begins to crack unless it’s built around cylinder 3. Unless you want a rod to fly through your fire shield, I would do some research
