After hours of attempting this on my own, I went to searching for guides. I watched several and was no closer to getting it. Found yours, and got it in a couple of tries. Your explanation near the end part is what I needed, as I was either getting the 300 and not 500 or getting the 500 and not the 300. Thanks you so much for your thorough breakdown.

I doubled back like 3 times just messing with it and the double fan is a lifesaver. You can mess up over and over but as long as you get back to it, you are fine. Amazing find man. Good stuff.

Why the F is the right stick just another flight control rather than a camera control? You have to fly blind most of the time, totally ruined what could've been a fun minigame.

At first I couldn’t get enough air to get both of the end rings, but then I was getting too much air and kept overshooting the last 300 point ring. Glad to be done with it my lanta

Thanks for your explanation, especially the doubling back to the fans at the end. That said, I would like to make one change to your explanation. Pulling up after the doubling back to the fans, I kept missing the 300-point circle (the one you barely got at the end). Instead of leaving the other 300-point circle before the doubling back (the one you needed to dive bomb), I took it before the doubling back. I barely got back to the fans, but it left only the two 500 circles you dive-bombed on and the 300-point circle I kept missing. Much easier for me to complete dive-bombing these two 500-point circles before pulling up on the 300-point circle I kept missing and, eventually, the final two circles. Hopefully, it will also help some of you who still need help with the course.

Going back to the fans was a BRILLIANT tip, you gain just enough extra momentum that was needed to get high enough to reach the final two rings. Before this I was usually always falling short and it was a matter of luck if I had enough height for the end (most of the time didn't). Also, can't say how many times in this mini-game it just didn't register the chocobo going through the ring even if I was EXACTLY in the middle of it. Very frustrating considering at the same time in another spot it could register going through a ring when you barely touched the outer rim of it. I don't know what Rebirth's mini-game team have been thinking when they made the tutorials for them but the instructions have been very lacking in most of them. Kind of ridiculous that players have to go watch RU-vid videos to know the basic controls for the mini-game (i.e. in this one, the Dive Bombing - was clueless to it before this guy's videos).

I already platinum'd the game a month and a half ago (AND perfected the entire play log, getting every single manuscript from doing side quests on hard mode and maxing out every character's affection stat) but I just wanna say that you and Optinoob are the ultimate duo for rebirth platinum. You're best with minigames and Opti is best with combat. You're like the unstoppable team!

Thank you, that was quite helpful and I just managed to complete this mini game because of this video. One thing I’ll say is that getting the 300 just before the last two because I was oftentimes overshooting and coming up too high, not going through the final. So it is really important, on the final pull back, to do it a bit before you cross the circle to avoid that. Took me a couple of attempts to fine tune this last step. If you manage to touch the last 300 close to the topmost part of the circle, you should be able to get the final two circles with no problems.

It took me some doing and much restraint on my part to resist the urge to go full Hulk mode, but I finally did all 3. Thank you very much for the guides they really helped

One tip to add is I was struggling to even get high enough turning around - i went slight wider and past the fans then turned so i went up facing the right way so I got mass altitude then dive as the 300 is going off your screen and as you say pull up a bit before the end, then its perfect - enough height to do a fancy drop into center to finish

Thanks Cheese strait came in handy. My body just did not want to do it but the most difficult part honestly is the set of 300 targets before you get to the "3rd half of the course" when you start the strait. To not miss the last target you must go into a mini dive bomb on the second to last target. That ensures that you don't miss the last target when you pull up. Any further you will miss it. Canceling your glide for even half a second you will miss it

This was an awesome guide but I just wanted to add some tips I found helpful. 1) try to use a crappy controller with less play esp on the analog sticks. Less play allows u to more easily click up after diving. I finally got it with a backbone one. 2) use 1 analog stick to move left & right & the other analog stick for up & down. 3) I got frustrated sometimes as I would pull up but the bird did not. Finally realised u can hit the drones holding the points marker when u pull up which will break ur pull up. Hope it helps.

Doing it this way took me a number of tries to get a handle on it, but I finally got this goddamn course done! I kept either over-shooting or under-shooting the third to last ring, and if you get it more in the center I've found you still don't have enough air to get the last two rings (I would only get the last ring as a result). This helped tremendously after me trying to get this on my own after a couple of hours before finding your guide, and it was the first guide I looked at, too! My brain doesn't hurt as much now, thank you!

The doubling back method also works if you miss any of the 4 after. On my run I missed a 300 before so after getting air I went back and got it and still got a perfect score. Thanks for saving me the rage and headache.

It took me less than 10 tries doing it this way, and most of them were that third to last one where you can't go back up too high. Thank you, your videos keep helping me very quickly

I have never in my life felt such burning, seething, soul shattering, violent hatred as I do toward the creators of these mini games. I’m on day 6 of trying to get rank three on this course. This is the FINAL mini game I have to get rank three for. I have followed every tip I’ve found, adjusted my timing, spent hours upon HOURS upon hours, and I canNOT get rank three. I’m not a casual gamer, either. My confidence is in pieces. I’ve never walked away from a game before but I’m ready to walk away from this one. Honesty I feel like if a game is so difficult that even a hardcore gamer will walk away from it, it’s a massive failure on the developers’ part.

Oof just got done with this one, I felt like sometimes I wasn't going low enough to catch the damn fans but the double back trick saved my ass (You can do it sort of on the early ones or wherever there's fan placement so that can help your run out if you mess up early on and you don't wanna restart completely over). Took about 20 tries but it's done .-.;. Thanks again for a very helpful vid!

Definitely like the double back to the fan method better than what I did. After grabbing the last 300 and turning right, I did one more divebomb to get the extra height. The double back method is probably a bit safer.

You know how the expression goes "It takes 1 bad apple to spoil the bunch"? Well, this minigame is perhaps a perfect example of it. Kudos to this guide and everyone able to nail this. I tried doing this and still ran out of patience pulling this trick. Ridiculous.

With this strategy i honestly found this course so much easier than the second. The divebombs were much more straightforward than say the moving golden rings at the very start of the second course
