Since your hair startwd a dark enough yellow/gold with orange on the ends, I'd recommend a blue shampoo or mask rather than purple. This is because blue cancels orange while purple only cancels yellow.

@@lela8081 it will get out when you shower and wash multiple times. It'll fade rather quickly :) Try to use the mask for a shorter amount of time next time.

You should deff bleach again and tone it, but please read!! To take any extra brassy tones out you should look into fanola no yellow/no orange shampoo. I’ve tried so many different purple shampoos and nothing works to achieve the white blonde as well as fanola does! My hair is extremely white blonde now because of it. Highly recommend the fanola shampoo! 💕💕 also the fanola blue mask! It works great 😌

Fanola is good but if ends are orange (like my hair now) I would just bleach again with a shorter processing time. Purple or blue shampoo is not made for toning hair but for extending the life of already toned hair.

Step 1 part your hair in 4 or more sections depending on length 2. Apply to ends first leave roots for last 3. Dont put a plastic bag because it will heat up your scalp causing the roots to lighten more than the ends 4. Comb your hair after generously applying mask to ensure that every strand of hair is coated

It’s a deposit only product, heat affects nothing. I agree to add to ends first since those need more toning so it needs to stay on there longer than on the rest of the head. But It’s not bleach it’s not going to lighten the hair at all, just deposit colour. The bag simply doesn’t matter.

You had a lot of orange and yellow. Purple only works on yellow or brassy, blue shampoo works on orange. Try doing a session with the blue and you might succeed at toning the resistant orange that did not take to the purple shampoos

What you need to do is lighten your hair very blonde. Keep it moisturized in between. You may have a very natural dark hair color as mine. A level 9 at least. Then use an ASH toner. Blue and purple can help greatly

You have to use blue shampoo on orange hair, purple cancels out the blonde and yellow. Blue cancels out orange

Just like funwithfuchs, I now have blond/yellow roots but orange lenghts. I don’t want to use blue toner because I’m afraid my roots will turn green. Tomorrow I’ll tone my hair, but I’m still unsure of what to do. When I tested it out on a strand, the purple toner even gave a green hue. At first I was thinking of mixing both blue&purple toners to create a blue- violet. But adding blue might not be the best idea?

@@ecdconin Try using the purple shampoo at your roots leave it in then wash it out, then if you can go in with the blue shampoo on the orange lengths, for me I had like and orange color and use Wella t14 toner and 20 vol developer and it took the orange out fine. But I have type 4a curly hair so I don’t know how it will react to your hair

I usually stay with my mas for an hour or maybe more.....I do not know how much you stayed, but you need to leave it longer. It is hard to get results from the first use, but try a weekly treatment and at least one hour🤗🤗🤗🤗

when hair looks like that after lightning means its healthy. I use the purple stuff after I bleach and leave it on for about 20 minutes to an hour and it seems to make it a nice shade of blonde. still looks nice and healthy.

Use a pkt of emergenC and shampoo. Let sit on hair for a few min then wash. It helps pull that purple from toning out.... ❤️❤️❤️

Purple shampoo wont do nothing for orange hair :) it only works on very light yellow tones To get rid of orange tones, you would need to bleach it one more time and use a toner to get that white blond

always start with the ends 1st then do the roots because the roots tone/ process quicker than the rest of your hair due to body heat. also, I'd try a stronger developer with bleach, preferably one from a beauty supply store because most boxed bleach is the same strength.

@@Tense2538 no they aren't but the lorreal Feria platinum collection is good. I use that and the wella toner in t18 mixed with ion 20 sensitive scalp developer. if you hair is thicker the processing time is going to be longe.r

I’m sorry but the results you got have nothing to do with the mask. You didn’t bleach your hair all the way until it reached white, instead you took it out once it reached what you have now is what I’m presuming. You can’t expect the ash color that the mask gives if your hair was never that light to get it in the first place.

You could use it, but it wouldn't do much to your hair. It won't hurt your hair but it would not eliminate the brassiness either. Purple shampoo is for blonde hair.
