Here are some treatments that help with sunken eyes. 1) Use the tips of your ring fingers to press gently but firmly in the gap between your eye and your nose..on both sides near the top of your nose. Your eyes will enlarge and come out of the sunken look. 2) Make a mix of half teaspoon each of multani mitti (fuller's earth) and pure quality turmeric powder with two teaspoons of aloe vera gel/ or aloe vera gel juice. Smooth the mixture under the eyes, and above the eyes, but not on the eyebrows. When the mix dries completely, wash off gently with water, and pat dry. 3) Before going to bed, gently apply some pure/ virgin coconut oil (without added perfume) alone, or mixed with tea tree oil.. below and above your eyes, as well as on your eyebrows. You will notice a vast improvement from the sunken eyes look, and be rid of dark circles and bags also.
brer bee Thank you so much!! 👍❤❤ Aloe vera is such underrated product, I tell everyone and they're like... Just aloe Vera, what's that going to do for you? It's amazing 💚
Sunken in eyes aka hollow eye aka tear trough deformity. There are lots of links on it. Also treatments like fillers such as restylyn are very helpful.
I sleep 8 hours every night drink 3L water a day eat as healthy as can and my circles are dark as the night! And ive been to a doctor and im healthy so...
anaviveri Get your Vitamin B12 levels checked. My mom had very dark circles for years and couldn't get rid of them. She was always told it was hereditary. After doing some research I told her to get her levels checked and low and behold she had barely any B12 in her system. She's been getting injections every ten days and no longer has dark circles.
You're eyes are great, everyone has a slight dark area around their eyes unless they're like 18 or around that age. But my advice for you, I've discovered that eating to much spices like Hot chillies or hot peppers specially the seeds too much of them causes skin sag & discoloration around eys. You have amazing skin, I say try to stick to more with natural home base ingredients. Skin will show what you feed you're body.and if you're always using facial lotions masks ext. these are all fully loaded with harsh chemicals your skin may not be able to withstand for long hence causing more damage.
@@idkwhattocallmyself.4434 "sources: dude trust me, grandson, lmao" I've seen hundreds of school photographs, my grandmother with friend photographs, i watched tons of footage filming random people in those days - none have it. I'm a historian person btw. You can genetically be more fragile to receive it, and have to put a bit more effort to avoid grey circles, but genetics don't make it so you're forever stuck with it. Just means you should avoid extra salt, hydrate more, etc.
@@vectrex2195 because cameras weren't totally a worse off quality than they are right now. It doesn't matter if you look at "hundreds", cameras back then were nothing like they are right now and probably hid a lot of blemishes, dark under eyes and so much more. Have you seen the quality of video cameras for tv? Wasn't great. So yeah, I'd rather trust my grandmother than "hundreds of pictures caught on outdated low quality cameras compared to now" tbh.
Two years later, I am seeing this video. Great ideas! Sometimes I like to use the caffeine serum from the ordinary around my eyes. It’s really good for controlling the size of the blood vessels and puffiness. Have a great day, James!
Yes it’s good especially in combination with your favorite eye cream. It’s good for when you come home late and know you won’t be getting ample sleep. It’s more of that day immediate use and not a cumulative serum, but applied before your eye cream it does help. Basically a booster to your eye treatments. I alternate between two eye creams. I use the 100% Pure’s Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream and the good ole faithful basic cerave eye cream. I am always amazed at how effective for skin barrier rebuilding the cerave products are. Lol! Cerave’s moisturizing lotion pm is comparable to Loroche posay toleraine double repair face moisturizer which I use very often too. I would love to see you or somebody do a comparison video of pharmacy brands from different countries. Like line up cerave (USA) and Laroche Posay. This would help people from different parts of the world that might not have easy access to parallel brands or at cheaper prices. Anyways, thanks for replying back.
Topical retinoids are great for wrinkles and under eye bags! (OTC retinol is best for the under eye area because prescription retinoids are too harsh to be used on that area)
You guys one thing that helped me tremendously is sleeping on my back. When you sleep on your tummy fluid pools under eyes. It’s literally overnight results
And of course, if you need it for a photo or event, you can always wear some makeup for that! Obviously, you would have to continue with the other tips afterwards 👌🏼
I wish there was a video on how to get dark eye circles (besides not getting enough sleep). I love dark circles and I think they are quite beautiful. Sometimes I would add darker eyeshadow to create the illusion of having dark circles under my eyes. I wish people would embrace their "imperfections" because to me, they are perfect.
Yes those kind of eye circles can be flattering but there’s a huuuuge difference between those and the kind of undereye bags that are really really thin, make your undereyes look hollow and you can see the veins under your eyes but at the same time they look puffy. Those are the kind I have and it makes me look sick.
@@dae6689 I kind of like that look though...but I guess I'm in a minority. I secretly think, like if anyone tells me I look really tired...I'm like yasssssss I did my job. Lmao
@@dae6689 like no joke, what you described...those hollow looking eyes, with veins, and puffy "eye bags" like I WISH I naturally had those. I think they add so much character to your face and to me they are so so SO beautiful. Like I draw/paint a lot of portraits and all of my subjects have under-eye dark circles and bags. Like just for science/giggles try to Google "how to get dark eye circles", which results in a million of articles on how to get rid of them...sadly.
@@olgarodionova27 you just need to have awful sleep pattern, like me. There's nothing sexy or cool about it honestly, it just makes a person look sick and therefore is an unattractive trait to many. This is why you only see articles about how to remove them (and 99% are trash too).
James, I've recently started skincare and love your videos. My skin is loose and my isn't as firm at tight, can you please suggest something. Thank you.
You have to watch the video that they did together!!! It is epic, they are hilarious together. The giggling is out of control. Love them both so so much.
Slugging and a liver cleanse + the right vitamins got rid of my milia. (The white spots under eyes) consult a doctor about liver cleanse and what vitamins you’re deficient in.
What about dieting? Do diets that are low in carbs cause dark circles under the eyes? I know since I started this diet that I've been extremely exhausted. I also take a lot of medications.
AHA?? where do you get that from? I get tiny tiny milia due to wearing undereye concealer and its really annoying! Mind you anything that can help the tiny creases i have under my eyes would be a bonus!
Joy Walsh i hed 2 milia on my aye... Just go 2 a docktor its not paiful and he will remove it realy quick... Its not dangerus its just a bit scary cuse u see a blade coming 2 ur aye😅 but its soo wurf a big confidence bust
Are there any eye creams that can be used on the upper eyelids as well as the under eyes? I've got really annoying veins on my upper lids and I'm trying to reduce their visiblity
See an allergist. Dark circles are called allergy shiners. You wouldn’t believe how quickly they dissipate once your allergies are under control. Most people don’t even think they have allergies. Sleep deprivation, and not drinking enough water also make dark circles and puffiness worse! Which you stated, but all of these things together can make everything much worse. 😁
That's interesting, thanks for pointing that out, I may look into it if the next product I try fail to help. But I admit I really need to fix my sleep schedule.
Watching Robert's channel and coming to James's channel it's like Robert is James's evil make up using counter part James has such a super hero I'll save your skin vibe 🤣😂
If dark circles are found due to himoglobin how to cure it and also by rubbing eyes at the time of washing face with water and at time watching TV plzzzzz give essential diet if any one know
