How to Get Started as Yan Baihu | Early Game Legendary Difficulty Playbook Patch 1.7.1 

This has nothing to do with this video, but just wanted to say huge thanks to you Master Serious Trivia, I've learned so much about TW3K and 3K history the past couple of weeks going through your videos. Seriously, best source of knowledge on the subject anywhere on the internet and it's so refreshing to watch Let's Plays with perfect pronunciation and great historical trivia. After realizing I knew basically nothing about the game despite having played 200+ hours before discovering this channel, could you do a video on how to get the rare/hard to find characters/events/items? For example I had never known about Hua Tuo and his book, other unique accessories like the Calligraphy set, Dilu and other things that can only be randomly generated from specific tiles, did 3 Sun Jian 190 playthroughs but never once saw the Qiao sisters event, did Liu Bei 190 twice but never saw Lady Mi, etc. Would be really great to have all that info in one source instead of having to search for everything.

Sometimes I wonder if Yan Baihu wears that white tiger hide, to cover up the fact he's secretly a Strategist wearing blue underneath. His skills enables such a technical, tactical playstyle that feels completely counter to the vibe of Sentinels.

The military strength might be bolstered by the Underling since I think they might count for it since they're technically in the garrison now.

I think that for the 4.2 on the mercenary contact you need to put someone in the underling position (because an administrator that isn't in an army becomes with his retenue a part of the retenue of the city) so thecnically by placing an underling you increase you army size

Yan Baihu has stalk because own retinue effects apply to both the general and the troops. You can confirm this by equipping a bodyguard on a general and checking their melee evasion.

I just realized that Yuan Shu unique starting units could have been the best purple units if only they had a shield or dual wield. I hope there is a mod for them

I've honestly never noticed any research time reduction either from maxed out Yan Baihu Coalition, or the unique building. In the late late game I'd have an unique building built in almost every county, full coalition bar, and try to research an appropriately colored reform from a county I already own - you'd think with all that stacked, it'd take 1 turn to get the reform, but it was like 4 turns which is probably how long it takes with no discounts at all.

The (seek a spouse) option guarantees you a bandit general. Choosing a male general to use this option gives you a higher chance to get a sentinel since generic female generals only come in three classes (sentinel, commander and strategist).

Are you going to do these How to Get Started for all the factions and start dates or just the 190 start date?

I still think he should've been a DLC character because of all the changes his patch brought about. So much weirdness in retrospect with all the 3K patches. Anyways, Master ST, do you think migration to Nanman lands is viable for Yan Baihu? With so many 3 county commanderies there and the fire arrow / poison volley / invisible ranged units completely shreds most nanman factions?

Yan Baihu is one of my favorite faction ,however his fation unique mechanic is badly designed considering vassels don't count as allies and making allies does not win you the game.

when you finish dong zhuo can you dedicate the next few days to finishing of the playbook videos then you could choose one to be your next campaign

Kinda sad you didnt take the weaponsmith :O. Have played yan baihu 3times and every single time i have taken it gotten 2unique swords and few other unique weapons like spears etc. Either I am really lucky or you get a huge bonus on getting them if you get it in start of the campaign because Hans dont build up the other one.

Not gonna lie I think he is he best general in the game, but I am bias.

Is this start date easier for yan baihu or is 194 easier because sun ce is not in the south?

Hi, thanks for your video. I tried Yan Baihu for the first time and for some reason his unique archer i cant use spear wall formation ( cuz it's in grey color ) sometimes i can sometimes can't. Do you have any idea how to fix that? :D Thanks
