Insanely helpful content dude. I expected to learn all these things myself when I got to this point in my life, but the knowledge you throw out every video is just so valuable. Thanks!
Enjoy your content as I recently inherited mtg cards and figuring out what to do. Enjoy learning about the process and reselling market for mtg. Thanks again
Great video again! For those of us working from home and one TCGplayer account who want to go direct, should we remove anything over a certain price limit? I know you said under $3 they take half, but what about over $3. It almost sounds like the way you do it with $1 and under cards is the way to go. I would just hate to work up rep on another seller account, but will if it puts more money in my pocket in the long run.
For you guys it really doesn’t matter I was saying that for stores just starting out just so they can hold onto inventory because everything sells so fast on direct
When you say organize alphabetically, does it matter which way? Specifically, can I start my As on the back and have it progress to Zs as I move closer to me or does it have to be the other way when I send to tcg
I wonder how much shipping costs on the direct fulfillment orders that you send them. Wouldn’t that realistically eat into your profit margin when we are talking about 4000+ cards
I believe it's actually 3000 Pokemon, Yugioh or Magic listed, individually. I don't think 1500 of each would count, but maybe if you email tcgplayer support they'd let it slide. I currently have 930 between Pokemon, Yugioh and Magic, so I can't get in haha, most of my inventory is Digimon, hope we grow enough to get added to direct How are you separating the inventory you add so that it's only for direct?
Rob this was an awesome video! Thank you for the breakdown on Tcgplayer direct. I've got a ton of cards I want to bulk away. Now I understand the direct method. One day I'm hoping to open my own store. How much is the card sorter again?
@@RussellCardShop you have to do what you can with the space you have. If you have unlimited space than yes, but they will sit for a while. If you are limited on space than try to only focus on things with a market price above .10
Ty for the updates. I am curious how much of your business is due to tcg player and how much are you generating locally, if you are willing to share. I sell online, but have considered brick and mortar.
i rang up bananas and didn't know how i don't really eat.... so the complaining then forced the i don't talk into not really having any banana's because no one is sweating over the 14 cents to put whatever is on there or some odd of me having to talk but asking for directions is a sin.......
