FYI, making a brake caliper bracket and welding it on might seem be boring, but to folks like me, it’s small stuff like that, that’s really helpful. I could wing it and maybe get it right or fail miserably lol. Having something to watch and have an idea of how to do it, is extremely helpful for us diy’er types. Thanks for the videos btw!!!
@@fox-body you have some really good videos, and you’re really good at explaining what you’re doing and showing it as well. I really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos.
good stuff Kris! I have coilovers on all 4 corners and want to lower my ride height by around an inch but I got to figure what that's going to do to my bar angles and instant center, I need the adjustable lower mounts for the control arms
Looking good !!! So your saying if I put a 15x8 5.5backspace my mustang will look likes it's mini tub .and want have any rubbing issues.i have 15x10 with the 275 60 15 MT PRO RADIAL
How? You hit the frame on the inside? Can do the same changing wheel offset cheaper than shortening axles? Ive been lucky to always setup my racecraft/afco instant center suspension and never lifted the tires more than 2" with 1200whp.
Like the video, having a ton of trouble, viking coilover sticks out in wheel well, 10in wheel 6.5 back space with 1/4 inch spacer 275/60 and they stick out of wheel well quite a bit, so im working on sitting the car up higher (doesnt look obnoxious in my opinion) but people are telling me to go to 28x10.5 pbr i see no way so i thought about going putting 28x9 pbr on a my 10inch wheel. Thoughts any advice?
If you have coil overs in the stock location things are going to be tight. Me personally I would ditch those get some inboard coil overs and narrow the rear end. Then you can get the wheel tucked and get your ride height much lower.
