@@PanzereichMapping it's not the landing on eve that's the problem, it's when like me you miss calculated the DV required or forget to add powerful enough engines to ascend lol... My poor kerbals just end up littered around Eve with 'bases' lol 🤣
@@PanzereichMapping I have a boat design that I sail around to recover splashed down booster rockets and spaceships for a 100% refund. Just get it in the water, point at the targeted piece of junk, and set the engines on full.
With all the over-shooting when time-warping, I only do it now by clicking in map view at a point on my path, making sure the minutes are less than the start of my burn time, and clicking Warp to Here. I almost never do it the other way, now. Or warping using alarms.

Oh captain, my capatain! Thank you for all of these videos. I only recently picked up the game and I would be completely lost without them! I really like your academic approach, teaching me how to fish instead of just giving me one. Any chance you did a video about the mod Kerbal Engineer Redux, or anyone else that has a decent one? I installed it, and woah.... Lots more numbers .... But yeah kinda overwhelming.
Thanks. No specific tutorial, but I have used in a lot in my live streams. I've got it installed in my most recent streaming series, but have yet to use it. I should probably change that. I'll note to talk about KER in tomorrow's stream. There's definitely more information there than anyone would use all at once. Don't worry understanding it all and just add what you think would be useful at the moment. It's very easy to keep modifying it as you go. For example, under the surface tab there's biome and situation, which is really helpful when collecting science.

Mike, would you consider doing a tutorial like this showing how to land and take off from Eve? I would love to see your techniques for building crafts that would be able to do a mission like this!!!
Are you talking about the Maneuver Tool? It isn't a mod, but I understand it isn't on the console version of the game. The video goes over how to transfer without the tool. 20:42.
