The winner for the Vpro mechanical is HobbyApple ru-vid.com Please get back to me within 48 hours :) Massive thanks to everyone that entered, I have another giveaway for a keyboard coming up very soon.
a care I realized... that I think everyone should have is with the distance between the eyes and the monitors because if you put them in the looks and the table is very long, even if you use a G29, or to read a code or text, you can not to see very well. So it's also important for me to be retractable and I can bring them closer to me...or have q thin table, which can be bad
In the Video incase anyone asks... When they show the Keyboard view, you can see there is a whole right above the center of the Keyboard, but it's sorta hidden, but it's deffinately there... I'm pretty sure, that is where the Cord for the Keyboard drops down, & connects to the Computer under the Desk... oO It's simple, they hide the Cords through little wholes in the Desk, that get hidden by the Devices, oO It looks pretty clean, & very nicely done... I've seen lots of cool looking Builds like this, & usually the cords are hidden to create a very nice professional appeal... I dunno how I will be doing mine? But right now, i'm experimenting with how I want my PC to look, & what it's going to run on, & next i'll figure out how it's going to be Stored? I guess, oO Btw, if the Motherboard & such Contents are incased in a Boxed in like Desk with Glass over layering it? How easy does one keep it cooled / Cleaned / Replaced?
this only works for 5760 x 1080p now, idk what they did but it won't allow you to 7680 x 1440 anymore it just says "not supported" and won't let you test which will then not let you apply because you must test.. shame tho was dope while it lasted.
tried doing this with three 3840x2160 monitors. When creating a customized resolution of 11520 (3* 3840) nvidia control panel doesnt allow me to apply this custom resolution as it wont save it as an available resolution setting after testing..
well done - Does Project cars come with a native resolution setting of 3875x1080p? embedded in the game itself ? Spot on creating a custom res - I found the one I made after the suggestion you made the game didn't recognize the custom despite doing it correctly in Nvidia Surround - What am I doing wrong ?
This is sick Mark!!! Hope that your new setup is more awesome that the current one... 'cause I find the latter close to perfection. So it's going to be hard to top it!
+TotallySilenced Tech Yeaaahhh!!! And it looks very cool! :) As a side note, I just bought the Mionix Castor, thanks to your vid. Really helped me to get a very nice mice! Thanks! :D
thank buddy, I playing Russian fishing 4 and It hard to keep you eyes on three Rods but this setup would help me, I have three Monitors and can't seem to set it up donno why!!! thanks for the Info Marv.
Nice cable management and lovely desk but if you want to use the best out of your setup search for project immersion fov sim racing try to bring your monitor as close as possible to your wheel and adjust the fov accordingly because is very noticeable on your video that your fov is far far far off you should be using way less to get the 1:1 feel
Great info thanks! But why are you using that weird field of view incar camera? It’s really wrong! Is it because it’s impossible to do it otherwise? It’s like you are in a fisheye instead of normal view.
Very nice video and very very nice set up but I would love to see a video starting from the very beginning - for example how do you hook your Xbox or play station up to the monitors or computer - do you even need a computer - can you plug your Xbox or play station straight into something else in get this same results ? Is there somewhere I can go look and find these answers ? Thank you in advance and one of the best setups I’ve seen so far
Same here. When I set the mega resolution for the one monitor it just says test failed and doesn't give me the option to left arrow and save. If I do it just says test failed. Any ideas?
Hey, know this is a very old comment but did you ever get this working? Can't seem to find anything in these comments or on google about how to get past the test. Running 3x 1440p Dell Alienware aw2721d, managed to get surround working once but had to return a monitor, got the replacement but now having the issue of all three screens showing at 1024x768 (or 3,072x768 in surround..). Just figured it'd be worth having a crack at asking you. Thanks
sorry to burst in here but... isn't the whole point of racing on 3 monitors to have the cabin across the three monitors and not just the middle one and make a crazy ass FOV?
I cant play games without my other monitors anymore. It's just that much more immersive. Even in FPS games, my center of vision is the center monitor so the fish eye effect is sort of like a simulated periphery. It's stretched but I don't notice it unless I look at the side monitors. Typically in an FPS though you're looking at the crosshair.
Hey this does not work for me, when I hit test it lets me continue on and have it as a custom option but when I hit reply my monitors all shut off and come back on as quickly as they can and there was never time for it to ask if i wanted to keep or revert the changes, it is like automatically reverting the changes
Thanks for the great vid. youre right, there are very few vids out there covering 3 monitor NVIDIA.. Too bad yuou have to lose G-sync on the center monitor in yhour setup
one of my monitors is not being detected by the NVIDIA Control Panel (all three monitors are the exact same model). I have tried the "My display is not shown" option in the "Set up multiple displays" section, and nothing was fixed, even though all three of my monitors work aside from gaming. NVIDIA recognizes both my left and center monitor as "monitor 1" and the right side monitor as "monitor 2." Have you any ideas on how to fix this? Edit: Only some of the ports on the back of my PC hook up to the NVidia graphics card, and they are all different kinds of ports. IS THAT NECESSARY?!
Would I need to do anything different if my ratios are different (1920x1200=16:10 + 2560x1440=16:9 + 1920x1200=16:10)? I'm doing exactly what is in the video, but my monitor doesn't come back on after i unplug and re-plug. I have to restart at that point. GTX1080
It would work on projectors actually pretty well because no bezels make it look like a seamless super ultawide. Gaming is actually decent for playing at 60fps
I have one 2560x1440 165hz and two 1080p 60hz monitors, and managed to set the 1080p monitors to 1440p. I tried setting the resolution to 7680x1440p 60hz on the main monitor (the 1440p one), and it's pitch black, but it doesn't come back on again after plugging out and in the displayport. I have to reset the computer at this point, and 7680x1440p is not saved as a custom resolution after resetting. Does anyone know a fix for this?
noob question, you have all 4 monitors connected to a single vga, 1 monitor per 1 vga or just only 1 monitor connected to 1 vga and the others into that monitor using display-multistream?
I'm having a lot of trouble setting up my multi-screen system on Windows 10. For some reason it only recognizes one screen I cannot get the other two screens to be recognized. Can you make a full tutorial on start to finish on how to set up this program properly?
How do you play your game on 3 monitors and keep the one above normal ?? Whenever I game on 3 monitors my top monitor turns off how do I keep that one on just not with the game I’m playing ??
friend, do I have to turn on the non-standard resolution on 2 monitors and on the tv, and then unplug and plug in each plug to make the game work on 3 monitors, i.e. two monitors and tv?
I know this is an old post but what do you use to split your signal to three screens. I use a Matrox TrippleHead2Go. Is there a better way for single 1080 card users?
Titanfall 2 is the only game I can not get to work with this so far. It crashes on me every time. HAve you tried that one? THank you so much for sharing this. It is awesome. Then nvidia one is too restrictive and I don't like the nvidia one as it is a lot lower resolution for me
Don't you have any issue with your main screen playing a borderless game and then one of the other looking youtube video and other stuff? Because all around it says the refresh rate gets down to 60 and it struggles :(
