This is so uniquely helpful because, unlike other sources that tell people to “go no contact for 90 days and then reach out in an interesting and unthreatening way,” this methodology really focuses on understanding oneself and working to heal oneself before determining whether to repair the relationship. As an AP attacher, I have felt agonized by all of the “just work on yourself for 90 days” advice. I didn’t know *how* to work on myself (other than trying to be more emotionally stable). This video really puts the self first before the other in a way that encourages healthy growth instead of focusing entirely on an ex partner and how to “attract” them back to you.
Thank you so much. I and my gf have recently taken a step back in the relationship but are trying to work things out while being long distance. This has helped me really identify the steps to ownership & accountability for my actions I took to cause the relationship to end.
