When I did it back in 1999 it cost about $600 and I did it in like 3 months with no studying actually required, you just had to wait for each of the 3 so called exams. what a joke its become.
There is a flurry of realtors that seem to provide alternate real estate how to courses? Do they have that much extra time in the day to create these courses? Does that raise a flag that maybe they don’t sell real estate?
Hey it was a great video ! Can you share after completing our education how can we pursue it, how can we study and also get the right experience required for applying for Pr when we have 1 year of work permit
If I understand you correctly Mohammad, for your 1 year work permit, you want to do work that is relevant to being a real estate agent, if this is the case, then some jobs that may interest you could be: licensed assistant, deal-secretary, receptionist at a real estate office, someone who does marketing or makes marketing campaigns for a real estate office, I hope this is helpful! You can directly message me and maybe I can help further :)
I’m from Irpin, used to work as a real estate agent, but russian invasion destroyed 71% of realty there. I’m going to get license in Ontario, thanks for useful video 🙏🏼
Ouch, sorry for what you had to go through. Amazing. Let me know how I can be of help. Reach out to me when you're at the stage that you're seeking a mentor!
Very informative and point to point well described Michael. Great Job. Is there any way we can do this course faster as I work full time job too in other field. Can you please recommend some study material to do these courses well and faster? -I would appreciate if you can do some video on a typical day of Real estate agent. Lol
Very good n informative video Michael. Keep it up. Can you recommend some study material to shorten the time to get licensed or any coaches you know that can help with teaching this course.
Hey bud, check out PASSIT, and definitely get involved in the humber groups on facebook, I can recommend a few groups to you if you direct message me somehow or on instagram, as there are lots of study notes and resources for each exam/course.
Hi Michael, I'm considering becoming a Real Estate Agent however it appears that in Ontario over 80 percent of individuals fail / starve within 2 years, I wonder if these are attempting to run part time. Do you have any advice regarding a new person breaking into the business? Does the brokerage forward sales leads to you at a cost, or are you essentially on your own? Just trying to get a handle on this before jumping in with both feet. Cheers!
Hey there! Thanks for being so open in sharing your concerns. Many of the realtors are part time, but what’s worse is that realtors have improper training and guidance. Provided that you are disciplined, have a positive attitude and have a mentor sharing their blue-print, it’s a pretty easy business. Most realtors don’t have a blue-print or the right attitude which is why there are the unfortunate 80%. I post a lot of new realtor tips on my instagram - michaelduggaltoronto . Goodluck!
What you should do if your serious is, find someone that could teach you the systematic way of real estate before doing the course. 80% is the people who don’t even try, so all those people don’t count because they didn’t apply themself correctly. The odds get way better if you do it the proper way. 80% is a false number when you look deeper. Delay gratification
Hello Michael, very informative video. I know you have it in your courses so I am not sure if you will respond to my question but do you have/know people in your team who first started as part-time? is it doable?
Goodday, are there visa sponsorship real estate jobs in canada... i rarely come across any that wants to support real estate professionals from other countries willing to start afresh in canada.
Hi Michael, after registration can we go to a brokerage and tell them we are in process of getting a license and we would like to join your brokerage and ask them to pay for our license??
I’d like to suggest something that might Help you. Try to match your background style with your outfit, you look professional, however it doesn’t balance out with your chair or the colours in the background. It gives off a vibe that confuses the viewer, I highly suggest that you wear a more casual outfit if you wish to keep the background, or do the opposite. I love your videos btw
