Newbie to Glock style handguns: I don't have a gen 3 to drop into it, just a stock dagger. What is the best bang for your buck purchase to upgrade my stock trigger?
@sellswords2318
@sellswords2318 4 месяца назад
My personal favorite trigger for any gen 3 Glock or clone is the Timney Alpha. Some say it’s too light to carry with. Plenty of great reviews on the Johnny Glock trigger kit. I personally have the Apex trigger in my Dagger with some sort of lightened connector. The Timney trigger is in my Glock 17… I do not carry it. It’s my tacticool gun for running courses. Hope that helps.

@sellswords2318
@sellswords2318 5 месяцев назад
It isn’t stippled, it’s a stick on rubberized grip they sell on Amazon. Clean the frame, stick it on (it comes precut to fit your gun) and then hit it with a heat gun. I recommend them all the time. I also have it on my Glock 43 and 43X.

I’m having trouble getting the slide release back in w that weird wire.. any help?
@sellswords2318
@sellswords2318 11 месяцев назад
It’s a bit tough to line it all up. That wire is the spring that returns it. I recommend you drop the slide release into place first, make sure it’s close to center of the hole and then drop the locking block over it. You’ll have to put pressure down on the locking block to “compress” the spring (weird wire thing). Then run a punch through the other side of the gun to capture all of the components. Then just follow the punch back through with the corresponding pin. Hope this helps. 👍

@sellswords2318
@sellswords2318 5 месяцев назад
I heard the pins were walking out before, is that what you’re referring to? Not sure if the older Daggers had regular pins but being that they’re roll-pins now means the tension applied by the roll-pin trying to open keeps them seated firmly in place.
@michaelsherfield3749
@michaelsherfield3749 5 месяцев назад
@@sellswords2318 yeah. I looked into it further they use proprietary pins. If you try to use the oem glock pins I heard they fall all the way through to the other side. Do you know if slide releases can be swapped with no problem? I've heard mixed reviews on that.
