Grafting Rare Cuts onto Vietnam Root Stock. This Vietnam plant already gave me over 30 fruits this year, I decided to cut it down and graft rare cuts on it. Grafting is fun, you should do it as well.
AWESOME!!! A gave away a few baby sugarcane to a local gardener friend and she gave me a baby dragon fruit!!! I love eating/drinking dragon fruit juice but never grow one LoL I appreciate the helpful video...
In my experience, dragon fruit can be grafted anytime as long you cover with plastic bag (5-7 days). But the best time to graft is Spring to Autumn if you’re starting out.
@@tristardragonfruit typically how long does it take to heal? And then how long you would see growth on the graft? In Richard videos, he mentioned you should keep ur graft in the shade. You graft it directly on to the plant outside. Is there extra step to do to insure the successful rate?
I grafted a Palora scion similar way onto a red rootstock its 33days its successful i can see its thick again but it hasnt put out new growth yet its in full sun..and the other 2Paloras scion are cleft grafted their like 28 & 30days old...So am just waiting for them to put out new growth
Love to know how that turns out. I considered grafting to a peruvian apple cactus, but I thought of so many things that could go wrong even if the graft was successful I gave up on it.
