@@delfincorcolon6942 Thanks for your comment and support. I don't order plants so not sure of the best resource or supplier for you. I would first check locally or in your country and see if they have contacts in other countries to help you order. That way they can help you with import laws and process. There are many suppliers out there but the challenge is to find a reliable one. Plus shipping cost is quite high too. You also may want to research and check on facebook as you can ask more questions directly on there to companies and understand their process before you buy. Usually better to buy in bulk and perhaps you can team up with many of your friends to order at once. Hope this helps a little. Take good care!
I just read some of the comments about this video and I have to apologize for not thanking you and your awesome dad for sharing such valuable knowledge and posting this very descriptive video. Thank you! If your dad happens to be in central Florida, I would love to buy from him. I'll check it out. 🌸❤️
Thank you for your kind words. My Dad has always wanted to share his knowledge as he certainly has made mistakes in the past. But there are more things to learn and hopefully we can learn from each other!
That was awesome. The best part was looking for that rubber band, sounded like he was tearing apart the place. LOL I hate it when you can't find something so small like that!
Appreciate your comment. Definitely not great video and learning to do a better job next time to share more. Stay tuned as Im working on it after years of down time. Thanks
3:36 OMG ... absolutely beautiful. Love you dad. He knows what he is doing that's for sure. Very knowledgeable. Will prune mine tomorrow we live in SW Florida.. HOT..

Hi :) After grafting, how often do you water the plant? I treat mine with lots of care because they look sad most of the time. Can you recommend a fertilizer o plant food that is adequate for these gorgeous succulent?
hey I love ur video and I loooove the way ur dad presented it. its very informative and I felt like I was right there in the room with him and I am ready to do one of my own! and good work mr camera man! u helped with some interpretation where u thought needed clarity and the video quality is great. i have to subscribe now cuz im very curious about what else i can learn from u and ur dad. keep it up!!
I will try to cover more in my next video for you. hopefully in the next week or so. been flooding here in Texas. thanks for your comment and watching.
Would like to know what is the best temperature for adenium to grow because I live in Northern California, when the winter comes, it may drop to 32 degrees.
Very Interesting, I wonder if you can use this grafting technique on a mango tree, then again use it on any other fruit tree. Any thoughts about that??
Your dad is the best.. Thanks for the video, very instructional. Please I need you to ask him, if I want to make a graft in the middle of the plant between 2 branchs and I can't put the plastic to cover, can I do without cover? Thanks
Yes you can try to root them in loose soil or vermiculite. I never tried it because I seen it never has a large base. but if you are growing just for the flower then I would recommend you graft it on another plant. thanks for the comment.
this is an excellent video...I truly appreciate you and your father... Question is: is there any one color or type of desert rose that seems to ACCEPT the new graft....the white you grafted numerous times looked very healthy. thank you richard in Port Charlotte, florida
thank you for your comment Richard. So far all the colors and varieties have been accepting the grafts well. Although it is obvious to graft during the warm weather, my dad has also been about 75% successful grafting during the winter as well, of course keeping the temperature warm in his greenhouse.
my back yard was totally broiled by cold weather (29 deg in Florida)...all of my desert roses were fried....some are turning to mush all the way to the ground...some are brown and soft most of the way down....how far can I cut them back? Will/would just the root push up a shoot? Some of the caduces are oozing think paste....the weather has broken already andI can cut them any time....got any good cutting/recovery tips????????
Thank you both so much for sharing your Dad’s knowledge of grafting! I just want to ask if you water them right after grafting or not. How often do you water them...i have a root rotten adenium and i want to save the upper part of it for grafting. Is it possible? Thank you for your support. God bless
Hi after you graft you should put it in the shade for around 3-4 weeks so watering is very limited. Just as long as it doesn’t dry out for too long. For your rotten root, you can use the top part and cut it to graft on another root but I would do it soon before the rot eventually spreads more. Best of luck!
Hi~ my desert rose plant looks like it’s sick. The leaves turned yellow and falling off. Even the baby leaves sprouting turned yellow and falling off. Some of the green ones are curling up with tiny brown sticky stuff on it. It had spider mites or something on few places, so I sprayed some baking soda water on it. How can I save this plant?
