You've got a bit of a seafaring vibe going on now, Colin. I think it was around eight weeks in when I looked in the mirror and found King Edward VII staring back, and decided the project was a goer - pretty satisfying, that, if startling. Hope you're feeling happily bearded again, after all you made a heroic sacrifice by going back to square one for the greater good. 🙂

Looking good Colin! You'll be grand and beardy for Christmas now ;) - I know you said it's "untidy" again but man, looks very clean compared to mine! No wandering hairs or the "I just stuck my finger in a plug" look 🤣

I agree it's looking pretty good but there are still a lot of stray hairs especially under my chin! However that's all part of the process and by looking after it you can get away with the growth process 😁 Can't wait to film the Day 100 video!

have really enjoyed your series! i'm just now hitting week 8 and its filling out nicely! when I wore a beard in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's , this is the point I would trim is to keep it close to my face, I'm going to let it grow longer this time, not hillbilly long, but maybe 2". Keep up the great work!

Colin, could you do a journey style series for the gym for beginners? I believe every young man should aspire to gain muscle and grow a beard. You’re covering one aspect of this and feel as you’d have some great insight into the gym aspect too. Thanks

Hi Colin. I was wondering would just jojoba oil instead of jojoba&argan be better for me? Reason I’m asking is I’ve heard jojoba is best for skin while argan is best for strands. Im looking for an oil that will be the best for oilier skin that can regulate sebum. Argan and jojoba seems like a perfect mix but with having oiler skin and a short beard I’m thinking argan isn’t necessarily in my case?

I've had excellent results from both and to be honest have never only used jojoba oil on my beard. It's all about trial and error...just regulate the amount of oil you're using if you have oily skin
