We just bought this type of cacti for 12 bucks, I found 13 babies on it. Thank you so much for making the video and letting us know how to care for them.
Thank you for this video! My mammilaria is growing babies, will leave them a bit more and now thanks to your video I know how to take care of them. Can't wait for them to grow so I can give them out to people I know ^_^
1. U need to use the container size as shown in video. Small size is fancy but u can't expect the growth as far I knw 2. Keep the container in place such that both sunlight , shadow will get. Thereby it can't absorb air moist incase if u fail to water also.. 3. Keep one plate under the pot inorder to get out excess water incase if u watered. Use water bottle to water. Make sure u are not watering on plant , u shud only on soil 4. Make sure you water the plant just to make the soil wet. No excess water. Also u can use the normal red soil or mixture as shown in video.. I used normal. As am reside in South India, it suitable for normal temperature itself. If you reside in any other part of world, make sure of the temperature according to climate. 5. Plant it and wait. Wait wait wait. It will take more time to come up. Suddenly it will show growth. It may take even more months to come up. In my house it took nearly 6month to get stable and in 9months I can see pot full of baby cactus. So patience is must. 6. Water every 15days once. Thats enof.. This is what I followed.
