Honestly this gave me kind of a “aha” moment . I always struggled with my backhand and after watching this I think it was down to that contact point like you said - was bringing my head up too fast and spraying it. Thank you so much. Today I lost my match mostly because my backhand shots go way up long balls. The don't look up and keep the body low makes total sense because I unintentionally do look up and stand straight after I hit my backhands. I never thought of that before. I have been watching your double-handed backhand on t.v. at the U.S. Open, Wimbledon, Roland Garros and the Aussy Open for years now and incorporate that stroke into my amateur tennis play. I am guessing that playing repetitively will help develop these but I think what makes Tennis so interesting is that just by achieving being in the top 10 does not mean you will not be beaten by someone who has to have that level and how ether traits such as mental fortitude, personality, inner belief.
