I'm a subscriber to the channel (youtube), congratulations on the excellent material. I am a former university professor teaching sports training and volleyball. Former fitness coach of national league teams. Today, I have a channel that talks about non-profit volleyball and would like permission to use parts of your videos in around 10 to 30 seconds. when using it I will quote the source, indicate the channel and put the link in the description. Thank you await return.

Is all that rolling really necessary?

Thoeun Kong in some cases yes

Sometimes.
@yomomma2194
@yomomma2194 5 лет назад
Thoeun Kong Its really not. This is old and volleyball has become faster. In game situations the roll will be too slow. It’s better if you put your hands down and pop yourself up with your eyes on the ball after you dive. When you roll you can lose the ball and if you accidentally overpass your dog you won’t be able to see the blocker on the other team hit the ball down because you are in the middle of doing a roll. By the time you get up the play will be over.

Is supposed to help you get up quick and get out of the way. The girl was rolling really slow. You're supposed to do it much faster to where you can hear your leg slap the floor

2:15 I noticed that beautiful necklace but is it allowed on where you play volleybal? We have to take all of our accessories off (including the small ones, for safety my coach told me)
@emty9147

i think in some leagues it’s allowed. when i watch olympic games i always see the players wear necklaces but i never do in college volleyball.

Well If someone gets caught in a necklace with their little finger it could cause serious injuries. Same with braces, watches and earrings.

Why would you face the hitter and not angle towards the setter?
@tornadostar6345
@tornadostar6345 6 лет назад
because the hitter is the one that is mostly likely hit the ball to your side of the court.
@a.a.o772
@a.a.o772 6 лет назад
so you can receive the ball correctly. If the spiker is hitting at you from the outside and you're all the way in the corner facing the setter, then the ball will most likely hit the side of your arm. I hope that makes sense. I'm not 100% sure that this is the reason, so you should ask your coach.
