Nice video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Qanucas Meyyatt Smasher (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one off product for skyrocketing your libido minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.
If cis-male fertility is often overlooked, non-binary AMAB and transwomen are REALLY overlooked, as you didn’t even think to include them regarding their fertility health in this post, despite urologists being experts in the parts of many AMAB. With all the “cervix havers” and “menstruators” language, you’d think “prostate havers” or “ejaculators” would have caught on by now. So as to be *inclusive.*
Outstanding video, very informative and helpful! I am so glad you started off with how often should couple try or have sex to become pregnant. You are absolutely right and many people way over do it by trying to have sex everyday (or multiple times per day) during her ovulation period. More is not always better. I had no idea men should go 2-3 days without sex, or ejaculating from self-stimulation, to fully "reload" their sperm production.
My boyfriend and i tried to conceive for 13 years and finally just gave up :-( But we had an unexpected miracle in 2017! We FINALLY became pregnant and had our little girl in 2018!! Don't give up it can still happen!! Lost a baby in 2019 but am pregnant again in 2020! Fingers crossed we have another baby this year! Wondering why we went 13 years with nothing and now have been pregnant 3 times in 3 years?? I mean i tried from 17 to 30 with no luck now 3 pregnancies from 30-33??
I clicked on this video AS SOON as I saw it in my subscription list! I couldn't ask for a better collab. Watching your videos makes me really excited to start medical school! I'm almost finished with the (very long) AMCAS application, and this is motivating me to sit down and complete it. Thank you!
Just congratulations on this collaboration, it's great to see this network of health professionals with the goal of education out there. Rena, Danielle, Kristina, Mike are my favorite! THANk YOU!
This is the video I never knew I needed. I love watching your videos and learning new things from the experts !! I’m 24 and trying to not be pregnant but I could use this information in the future if I choose to have kids.
Excellent, well done. Good information for couples wanting to conceive. Knowing men as I do, having been one a long time, getting them to watch is going to be the problem. Way back in 1981 my P. D. had a gold standard insurance. We both went in for check ups before trying. Her to a OBGYN me to a Urologist. That resulted in me being advised to have an adult circumcision. That was not unexpected. Children now grown and gone. Awaiting grands. My understanding is they are more fun than the originals.
Great video ! Good to hear the truth about boxer versus briefs myth. I've been doing testosterone replacement therapy for about eight years. Started with the shots then the pellets and now I'm back to the shots. It helps my energy level and improves my sleep. In the future could you do a video on TRT ? There is an incredible amount of bad information out there from people just wanting to make money. Also could you enlighten us on the truth about the P-Shot for men. It sounds a little to good to be true. Love the channel. Thank you.
I have max testosterone and I've never used Testosterone pills, but I took Fenugreek which lowers Triglyceride and I followed a diet from this physician that helps old people but my sperm went down so bad. It was nice experience, because I did not eat veggies and fruits. I only eat for 1 month eggs meat and cheese and then add little here and there but for 3 month I followed that and my sperm went down. So now I learned a lot that she is right what she is saying.
I was hoping during the section on psychological disorders that you and doctor Jones would discuss the impact of Anti-depressants on fertility for men and women. Could this be addressed in a future video?
My fiancée and I would love to have a child next year or so. I am on testosterone and cycle steroids a few times a year. I am also very interested in pharmacology and bio-hacking. I am designing a fertility protocol for myself due to this. I would love more information from a urologist regarding use of things like HGC, HMC and Clomid on top of supplementation.
I can understand what this vid is trying to say, ty. Several of the things pointed out are spot on. And that's even after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's website too. It makes it simple to understand the best way to get pregnant within 60 days.
Hi! My partner and I are starting on a TTC journey. Two years ago he was diagnosed with very low testosterone levels and has been getting injections to boost his testosterone once a week. The comment you made at the very end about men being on testosterone makes me super anxious about the future of our TTC journey. 😰 Is there hope for us??
I will never forget the day I came across dr igho channel on RU-vid, I will always keep it memorable, because you helped me get rid of my infertility naturally, then putting a big smile on my face, thank you Doc
Does Prozac have any connection to male infertility? My husband was placed on Prozac for Anxiety after our son was born. We are almost to the year mark of trying to conceive our second baby. Our first was conceived in 3 months.
Can erectile dysfunction contribute to infertility in men? Also, I know that being too overweight or underweight can effect female fertility, does weight have any effect on male fertility?
1:20 "infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 month of unprotected intercourse". After hearing this with the "unprotected" qualifier, the only thing I could think of was: "Yeah, the inability to conceive after 12 month of *protected* intercourse is called natural selection". scnr :D
I was wondering if there is a way to improve my seman. For example, the older I got, the less seamen and the clearer it is. Is this normal and if not: what can be done to improve my seman quality. I want to thank you for all your great videos. Your videos are all very educational and informative. Thank you!
So about 20% of the time its the male who is responsible for failing to conceive but about 50% of the time women can blame the male anyway. Its good that women have an additional outlet of blame.
I think since cell phones and laptops use lithium batteries, they emit a certain amount of radiation, especially when the battery is low and the device is hot, they should not be near your reproductive area. Example of radiation in cell phones..My step mom got cancerous tumors behind her ear that she used when talking on the cell phone. The tumors were removed and she was fine, then she switched to using the other ear,and yess, she got tumors behind that ear too! So, there's definitely a situation there,Never put a cell phone near your ears, use the speaker, and yeahh, don't put it on your lap! Who knows what it can do down there, why risk it!
I disagree with abstaining only 2 to 3 days,I'd say 2 weeks, because of that being about how long it takes to fully replenish his supply of sperm. I tried the every other day theory,it only depleteted him. A 2 week break did the trick.
She was referring to the ovulation window. You can only get pregnant a few days per month. If you choose to abstain longer the rest of the time, that’s up to you. That said, when you give a sample, you tend to be asked to only abstain 2-3 days as if you abstain longer, there can be debris in the semen.
They said I was low. That hurt so bad for me. We tried so long.we even though we live in Pennsylvania we traveled to bottler marlin. For help. Didn’t help
What would be the next step if you are able to get pregnant, but just had 2 consecutive miscarriages, but all the hormones lab results are normal. The pelvic SIS ultrasound also normal. No issues were found.
Why is it when a man is diagnosed with low T at a young age supplemental testosterone is prescribed without any discussion of if you want to try and conceive, HCG should be the first prescription for low T in any man under 40 No one ever told my my testosterone injections could basically render me infertile and now I'm spending thousands a month just for a chance to make a baby with my wife There needs to be more done about male infertility and discussions and treatments
What about heat and male sperm vs female sperm ? My husband takes a hot bath every morning ? Is it true that it could be harder to. Conceive a boy over a girl ? We had a girl by the way lol I know it’s 50/50 ? I really wanted a boy but I’m happy with a baby girl
I have a question, i work in the restaurant business (chef) so I'm always working in a hot kitchen, over a stove top or grill and my crotch is always close to some heat from the equipment. What can I do after I get off work to regulate my temperature for my sperm to regulate?
Thanks Dr. Rena for the great information! I was wondering if you have any information on a man being too viscous when it comes to his semen. This is my husband's problem and we told that because he is too viscous the sperm is staying too long in the vagina which is causing them to die because of how acidic the vagina is.
If you have low motility or low morphology, can having sex more frequently benefit your chances of fertilizing with healthy sperm? (I was reading online about frequency positively impacting the amount of progressive sperm / good quality)
Me and my man been together for like almost I want to see a year or two years and we haven't reduced but we've been doing it so I don't know I thought I was cuz I miss my period in 2 months but I don't know what happened I don't know
LOL just the expression on her face when I shot a thicker and substantial load was worth it, I used what I mentioned last month and after the first 3 weeks or so my volume visibly doubled, I just go'ogled Jan Venstaker's Shooting Ropes and the intensity has been insane!
I have phimosis problem and erection problem but i have good quality semen Can i inject my semen to my partner through the syringe? How much possibility to conceive when compared to natural intercourse?
If you are trying to get pregnant, why would you be having protected sex? Should a person who doesn't know you need to stop using condoms to get pregnant be allowed to become a parent?
