mapuia chenkual i didn't learn how to sing until i bought my first car. cars are an amazing place to start because you are all alone, you can drive to an empty place, and you have a radio
@@draektears2794 me too loads as I drive for a living but the only issue of just doing this is you get used to singing in a seated driving position that can be different to standing up in a room and singing so if you don't do the latter regularly you don't get as good as you might in a performance situation.
FINALLY!! a male rocker vocal coach! I sincerely cannot thank you enough for posting these lessons. I have actually had traditional vocal coaches turn me away as they did not want to change my raspy sound. Obviously not an issue here! Great Lesson!!! You ROCK!!!
It really sucks because I’m a bass, and I hate it. All my friends are tenors and they sound so cool! I can barely hit the d right about middle C. I just wish I had the right voice for what you’re singing. I have a passion for music I just don’t think I can do it due to having such a lower voice. Like cmon what famous singer do you know that sings mainstream music as a bass. None. I just wish I could extend my vocal range without having to strain and hurt my throat.
@Game Lock It's a good think to be a bass! I'm a low baritone and I wish I could sing below G2 easily, as most of my favorite classical arias are bass arias! Ever heard of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau? If not, please hear this and feel all the beauty a bass can create: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4MC8DXov4Dk.html
When I started singing everyone was saying I sucked and that I couldn't go any further, thanks to you Ken I've got my confidence back and i'm getting better and better at it thank you so much,Great Job you're doing !
2:19 The most beautiful Nightingale voice I have ever heard from a man: clear, bright, and solid. A thing which is hard to achieve, but achievable nonetheless.
That's very kind of you to say, InnocenTALEX. That tone is achievable. It just takes a lot of practice and training. That's the method I teach in my course. From that core voice you can vary into many tones and textures, all the way into Dio, Coverdale, Robert Plant, and also cleaner R and B types of vocal tones.
Ken, your rendition of lady would be impressive for a high tenor but for a baritone it is nothing short of amazing! your instruction has strengthened my upper range and produced noticible leaps to my range in an area I was lacking (the lower range) It has taken me to the next level vocally. I have so much left to learn and every time I watch a video I see something I missed. Thank you so much for spreading your knowledge and experience. God Bless
I've just started listing to ur videos, parts one and two, and my voice has improved a little bit. I will keep watching your videos, to see if I can improve more... Thank you so much. You are giving us, some lessons that would cost a lot of money.
I’ve finally searched how to improve my range and I’m so glad. I have a very good head voice and chest voice as a baritone with a range not so bad. And I can blend the 2 decently but now your giving me what I need to master that blending. Which for someone with a deeper voice makes or breaks me as a singer.
OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!! You are amazing! I'm singing tenor this semester in choir so I thought I would see if you could help me figure out how to have a stronger lower pitch. I can sing all the way to an A6, but I start to bomb out about a D2 so I was hoping that you could help with the lower notes. You are an incredible singer!!! SO Awesome! :DDD Thank you!!
Hey Ken, Great Tutorial, Im not so good but, I feel like im getting better seeing your videos thanks a lot. Saludos desde México (Greatings from Mexico)
Seerch Vaneer It's more about learning the entire process of singing, to learn to build stamina and avoid oversinging. That's part of what my vocal course teaches, but one video won't cover it. There are a number of techniques that, when used together, will protect your voice from wearing out.
Seerch Vaneer I recommend you subscribe to my RU-vid Channel. You will see several Playlists. Watch the playlists (and add them to your own playlists). You will see playlists on "How to Sing for Beginners" and "How to Sing Better Than Anyone Else". Watch all of the videos in those playlists. There are also playlists on How to Sing High Notes, as well as Advanced singing techniques. There are playlists on Rock, on Pop, and everything else vocal you can imagine. Start there and keep going!
Low talking voice…yet you hit spectacular notes and sustain !’ This is actually quite helpful. I wish I had this information ten, twenty…50 years ago. It would have been what I needed! Glad the youth today can hear your examples, Geez -good-looking, great rock hair, incredible voice; I don’t know why you aren’t a rock Star!
I am 81 years old I started with D4 as my high chest note 2+ years ago. My coach has extended it to A4 and my falsetto to D5 with E5 and F5 there but not well controlled. I can make soft noises to B5 (hope springs eternal). My singing range is F2 to D5 but I can also make sounds down to B flat 1 slowly decreasing in volume. Here is what i
Everybody listen up cuz it certainly is story time so I looked up Ken tamplin when I wanted to increase my vocal range after discovering Greta Van Fleet and wanting to sound like Josh kiska and I studied Ken for maybe a week and then after understanding my diaphragm use my throat and my scream I now scream high as josh thank you Ken God bless
You BEAST! "She's gone" is CRAZY HIGH. I can hit a few of those notes but my "stamina" gives out quite quickly... Please could you do a video on keeping on the high notes?
Hey, Chris! Thanks for the kind words. I don't know if you've seen this video. Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gCrmN0BySz4.html

Wow, Steven! I try to teach everyone to do what I do, so maybe we can all reach levels like that! God might be a little lofty, though. I'm more of an Earthly Technician and Artisan of the Voice! Thanks for the kind compliment!
Very helpful tutorial! I'm able to hit around C6 at the moment, but not very smoothly. My chest voice breaks between G4 and A5. And I can hit them fine, it's just my transitions are weird and takes a second to fix my voice to it, But I guess it'll take some more practice. Again, thank you!
Is it possible someone not to have a falsetto voice at all? I'm trying but I can't even start doing what you're doing. It seems like it's broken, there's difficulty even forcing a sound in this register.

Hey, can you tell me how can I make my voice sweet while singing? Whenever I records my voice when I sings, I finds my voice pretty rude n' I wanna make it softer. Please help!😢
I can get up high and low with notes, just the high ones i can only kinda yell/power through them. And after a few minutes of consistently hitting highs with power, i start to get strain and/or aggressive rasp. After that my range slowly shortens as time goes on in a session of singing. I just need more strength in my highs so I dont strain anymore, any tips?
You would benefit a lot from taking my course. What you are describing is not a way that is going to help your voice. You need a solid foundation in proper singing methods to be able to reach the notes you want without shouting. It takes time, practice, and technique. What you are doing now is not good for your voice. You need to build that upper range gradually. You can't force it.
Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy thank you!!!!! You are a fantastic teacher and vocalist!!! I’m already seeing improvement and I can’t wait to see where I’m at in a few months!!!
you know what..??..the practise that you gave us actually works out..!!!..now I can sing She's Gone chorus part like you did in this video...now I can sing in high mixed voice, even I didn't lost my voice when I'm doing distorted & growling vocal, plus it enhanced my vocal ranges instead I was struggling in order to return my voice when I did that thing and cracking my voice afterwards..each individual has their own range right and did I've achieved my highest/maximum range because I didn't losing my voice anymore if I'm screaming, growling, rasping & something in common and the result just like what I've said before,it's enhancing, like it's opening a "door" for me to access higher level..
You're the real deal 🎸 I've been singing for years in nightclubs and I've learned a lot! I'm on the right track looks like, but man you got it down I will be getting your course very soon
Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy I meant that in a playful way. Like wow.. you are amazing. Extraordinary . Never been good at complimenting or expressing my humor. (btw my 9 year old daughter and I have been watching your videos for a good time and practicing... thanks) id be willing to pay for more in depth online material.
Very useful stuff! Learning a lot of practical stuff and have already noticed an improvement after only a couple of days, thank you for posting and sharing your admittedly impressive knowledge!
