Passed my bleep test last week at the assessment centre. A week prior i was only reaching level 5, then i followed the training at point 3 and 4. During my selection one week after that i smashed level 9.2 which was way abover infantry level. Thank you sir for this.
@@LeslieSharp-gu1kc make sure to the points told on this video. My training, I usually run 2.4km on the treadmill trying to smash it for 11minutes (once a week) or whenever it's rainy outside to run. On a week schedule, I'd run long distance one day, then run short distance the other day. For five days a week. Rest my body during the weekend. I usually run only once a day, it's either in the morning, or during lunch time or in the afternoon. The reason why I run at different times of the day cause it gives three different effects on the body. Morning run helps in loosing weight, midday run strengthens your breathing pattern, afternoon runs helps your overall recovery breathing. Also adding in hills runs for once every two weeks, and do the bleep test itself once every two weeks. The reason to run the bleep test so that you can adjust your body to the pattern of how the bleep test is done. Your footing, your phase, etc.
Thank you Sam, much appreciated! One thing I also learned recently is learning Technique is a great way to make it easier on yourself, stretching for the line to reduce the distance by 2m (1m either side) helps considerably,
Really helpful video, thank you! I have my AC in a few weeks and this is really helpful. Going for infantry…. my local recruiter put my 2nd choice as admin just in case I mess it up on the day 😂
Thank you for this, my son is in the process of o joining the British Army. From the Rhondda. Hope your enjoying America and the weather. Love all your videos.
Toughest part of the beep test is finding a place to train during winter. There are indoor tracks in my area. But sometimes I can't get it done because people are in the way.
I just tried the beep test and scored 4.5! I did not realise how unfit I am and I want to join the infantry. I seriously got a lot of work to do, in order to reach 8.7
What do you Advice Sam, when do we actually stop training for the bleep test before assessment date, cause i guess training a everyday can affect the medicals??
Hi Sam, This video was quite eye opening and benefical for me. As, even an officer have to go through this test to pass to be selected. I watched your video on AOSB for tips and advices for becoming Officer, I would say that, I learnt alot from that and got astonished at how you did alot of digging and research on the subject. I am really sorry for repeated inconvenience, currently I am doing my best to gather all info on joining the British army, the requirements, cons and pros. As, I said earlier on, joining army is very big step in my life and it would decide my career/future so, I should be well equipped. I had question regarding the qualifications for an officer; I am told in the military website that we need 35 Alis points(from 7 subjects), generally it is told A*-C in Maths, Science, English or a foreign language and 72 UCAS points(from atleast two A Levels), but the problem is I have got the required grades i.e B's and C's in 5 Subjects (Maths, Science and English) will that affect my selection? Lastly, if my two A level grades doesn't make it to 72 UCAS points, can I borrow from my As Level to make it to 72 UCAS points? Because, As Level also provides UCAS points. Genuinely speaking, it is very confusing, In the website it says "Soldier to Officer" you need passes in five GCSE subject with atleast C in English, Maths, Science or a foreign language🤷 Regards, 🎉😊
