Very nice video, thank you. I am growing yellow Dragon fruit in Kentucky, and it has been a rewarding challenge. Watching them grow from seeds to 1 meter + plants in about a year. I can't wait for them to be old enough to fruit. It will be interesting if I can keep them alive that long.
thank you! I'm a beginner with dragon fruit and now I realize i missed my chance to pollinate the bloom. I will also be cutting more tips to get more growth.
Thks for this video..l got one large red dragon fruit from my plant this season,.this video has enlightened me so that next season l will get more fruits
Thank you so much for your videos. Your knowledge, communication skills and patient photography are all so helpful for a new gardener like me. 🙏🏼 I am sharing a humble suggestion as you seem to be a devoted dog lover. It is a good idea to loosen the dog neck collar as it is uncomfortable for them and also restricts their neck to grow fully. 🙏🏼 I am sharing respectfully only as one dog doting person to another. This is from some previous videos I have watched. 🙏🏼
Your videos are not only calming to watch but also loaded with information. The way you document the whole growth process is amazing. Your dedication is praise worthy. You inspire a lot of people to take up gardening as their hobby. I use your tips to grow my plants although I don't have a big place yet your videos helps me to grow plants in small place. I have some seedlings of dragon fruit plants. Should I grow them in bigger pot or do I need cutting of a bigger plant to grow flowers and fruits. Thank you for your amazing content ☺️
Thank you so much 😊🤝 you can transplant them into individual pots ....at the same time u can start cuttings also, as they will grow n will produce faster than the seed grown plant ...use mature cuttings for better result..happy gardening 🤝
Thanks for sharing your information. I have a dragon fruit several years old. I will try this today and hope it works for me. I love a fruit salad with dragon fruit in it.
I have over 100 fully grown DF plants in the ground and in pots. The fruit is purplish red. The yellow variety called Ecuador Palora too are growing well and are fruiting this year.

Keep ur plumeria plants in full sun ....fertilize with NPK 0:52:34 after every 25 days for healthy growth n flowering (mix half tablespoon in 500 ml water n spray 20-30 ml on the leaves n add 50 ml in the soil )
Great video, thank you. I have a question, I am in South Florida and about 2 years ago, I planted approx. 14 Dragon Fruit plants (mixed varieties) in groups of 4, grew very well on their 4-foot trellis, however the plants produced many, many beautiful, healthy-looking flowers but did not set fruit, I only got 3 fruits in the 2-year period. I have tried pollinating them in different ways, using my hand, placing the pollen in a container and using a soft brush to pollinate them, swapping the pollen from plant to plant with a brush or leaving them alone without success. Like I said, the plants and flowers look very healthy and pretty; an observation, I don't know if it's normal, in a group of plants, I find many bugs at the inner base of the flowers, they look like small brown weevils, they can only fly a little, (Nitops craigheadi ???) I don't know if they are harmful or beneficial, I don't know if that has something to do with no bearing fruit, apart from that, I don't see any other bug outside of the plants that affects them, any suggestions? Thanks in advance I found a video that it shows something similar to what I see inside the flowers: packaged-media.redd.it/gziy1fie01o91/pb/m2-res_720p.mp4?m=DASHPlaylist.mpd&v=1&e=1692306000&s=8223b959ac41589632305a7bf5d68d2a57a6703e#t=0
Wait for 1 year more...they will start producing more ...during the first 1.5-2 year they normally set few fruits..that is completely normal and during the growth period fertilize them with NPK 0:52:34 for good health n more flowering
@@urbangardeningofficial it's already in a 30 L pot, it grew one big shoot last year and it stopped there not even a small stem. It gets full sun(even temperature in winter is warm) it's going up a trellis and I water it from time to time
URBAN GARDENING, thank you. This is the most precise info/advice I have read so far in growing, and taking care of DRAGON FRUIT. I live in the Caribbean and, this is my first try at growing this amazing fruit. I am so interesting in assisting persons in Health. However, I've received 2 buds from different plants and, they drop off. What am I not doing right? PLEASE HELP?
Sir, where to keep potted dragon plant in rainy season? I mean, if full sun is necessary, rain can't be avoided. Shall I keep it under shade in monsoon?
