Over 3 years later and you’re still saving people. Thank you for the nice easy to digest video. As someone who’s getting into the hobby this has really helped so much!
.Perfect! ..Exactly what I needed for my Turned Untamed car! .About 3 weeks ago Artificial Intelligence took over in an Elementary School Cafeteria surprising my daughter with lunch attached to it. .I drove it in fine, No Problem. .It's sitting on stage.. ..Sucker took off, flew off the stage and slammed into the side of a table where kids were sitting down eating, wheels still turning climbing the legs on the table. .Thank God Nobody Was Hit or Hurt! .Connection started screwing up that day, not connecting right, taking off on its own after it did connect properly. .How I learned the times when it was going to take off by itself, Forward would work Reverse wouldnt work. .After a short Delay of sitting it take off in Reverse without the trigger being touched. .After watching and executing these steps the connect was back to working properly and produced a Hairpin Trigger, which it never had since I bought it a few months ago. .Great Video Sir, Thank You!
Great instructional video. I've heard a lot of folks talk bad about the Arrma stock servo's. They are actually pretty decent but if you don't have the endpoints set correctly it's not going to last. It's very important to do what you just did. Especially the endpoint settings.
I agree! Setup is proper. Stock servos are a issue but i think more cause what you said too, which i agree as well. Not setting endpoints burns them up fast.
@@BDTennessee Thanks bud! I hope I can find other people in my area to learn more about the hobby! But since I'm rarely home that's gonna be tough to find! That's why I appreciate this video so much! BTW I also have a Horizon hobby Valiant, Delray Ray 1 and and an old Blade heli I hope to learn about. Using Rf9 to teach myself how to fly them.
@@RickWilleyOMC anytime you have a questions feel free to comment and ill help yah :) Awesome little birds, especially Valiant! RF9 is great to help learn. You can get new models on the "knife edge swap pages".
Yup! So I just went through this video again and got my truck all dialed in. Thanks again for doing this video! One thing that I'm not sure about is the steering trim part. I have it almost maxed on my transmitter and I did back it off a bit until I saw the tires twitch but wasn't sure what you were talking about when you said something about the suspension 🤔
@@RickWilleyOMC max steering rate on transmitter. Then do the adjustment you have done.I talk about the suspension because want to make sure its not binding.
@@BDTennessee I can't even get the truck to turn on. When I plug the battery into the charger I'm not seeing any green lights. When I first plug it in I see the charger go through the motions of the four different bars with green lights but then it just stays without green lights after that
Hey i'm new to rc, and I need a little help please. I dont know much about the things such as batteries, chargers, and connectors. Could you please respond and link what I need for the Big Rock? Have a nice day!
@@BDTennessee thank you! I found one called Zeee 3s 5200mah EC5, Tenergy TB6-B balance charger, and I got Male EC5 to Female Deans T-Plug Adapter KCRTEK Female T-Plug Deans to Male EC5 Wireless RC LiPo Battery Connectors. I think that’s what I will need
@@konstellate9284 Zeee work too.If you got a 3s tho id make sure to get hardcase lipo. With that charger just get banana plugs to EC5 male instead of using multiple adapters.
Thanks for the video! Quick question, once you set how far the wheels turn, do you return the s/r on the remote back to 12 o’clock or do you leave it at max?
Thanks for watching.I lower mine down cause its so sensitive it slides around alot from being able to overcorrect easy. Normal driving in small area i use 11-12 o clock. Open areas 10-12o clock for straight line stability.
This video is how you setup the trucks. However if your truck is all over the place turn down the steering rate. If you have it up to high it will make the truck oversteer and be very sensitive so will be easy to oversteer.
@@sniperowlG I like 1 full turn back from fully tightened.Just enough slip to stop your drive shafts from breaking constantly.I learned that the hard way. 😆
Great tracks I have big rock got it 3 weeks ago fell in love. But that green granite really catches my eye as well I've been looking at it about everyday just haven't purchased it yet bc I have big rock. Would you recommend getting granite even though I have big rock or do they basically feel like same truck or totally different. Should I get senton instead.
Ryan, i would get a granite too! Watch my video i posted on the channel comparing them both. Even though both monster trucks they drive totally different. I havent been too much on Senton but they are fun too!
Someone please help I have done these steps over and over I even got a new esc but still I can never get a green light to flash even once to set the throttle
