In this video I will be showing you everything you need to know to properly inspect your steering system components for wear or play. Your outer/inner tie rods, power steering rack, steering shaft universal joints, idler arm, and pitman arm joints will eventually wear out and start to develop looseness which can cause a joint to fail. When this happens, your vehicle can swerve into the ditch or oncoming traffic and nobody wants that. Are you able to tell if you have worn steering components? If not, this video will help you with what the components are and how to inspect them so you can do the repair before you have an accident.
