HOW TO: Install 1" Biltwell Window Bars & Thruster TPV Grips 2020 Harley Iron 1200 

Take my guidance with a pinch of salt haha, this is my first bike too and I know 0 about tools but it’s half the fun giving it ago yourself haha don’t forget to drop a photo across once yours is done be cool to see your ride 👍

Will give that a try next time, thinking of switching out the bars on my sport glide so will need to be putting new grips on the new bars

I am 5 foot 6 so not the biggest person in the world, I have no trouble with them and my arms are not too long. I do have them tilted forwards slightly as well. I didn’t follow any guide just set them where I liked the feel.

Biltwell do two versions, the ones I bought are the dimpled version.

You’ll need dimpled for stock controls

Indeed no new cables needed, have not had any issues either 🙌, if anything the cables could have been shorter

@@billyabercrombie4860 yeah love them far prefer them over the stock bars, I wasn’t a massive fan of the look or feel of the stock bars

Actually i made my own window handlebar LOL

I’ve had no trouble with them since install but will give the alcohol a try next time cheer 👍
