I don't have one, but that's definitely a good one to film. I have plenty of balance kits, but never had to use them. I will figure something out for that and do a video on it. It prob won't be for another month or two though, I'm working on AC's everyday right now, been replacing condensers, evaporator coils, compressors, etc.... Alot of 2 Ton compressors going out. It''s only $75 more for a new 2 ton condenser with a 5 year warranty so that's what we have been doing on alot of the compressors that go out lately. AC's run hard for 10 months here, and still get AC calls in Jan/Feb. But I believe the previous Maintenance guys didn't know much about AC's and just added a charge to them cuz I've found a bunch over charged, or non-condensables (air or moisture) in the system which ruined the compressors. Depends what type of box you have mounted in the ceiling. By box I mean the small electrical box that the wires feed into. That box has to be rated to hold the weight of a ceiling fan. Thanks for watching Armando & Subscribe to the channel 👍

These fans were put in at construction in 2015/2016, I will have to look through my paperwork in my file cabinet & get back to you as I can't think of the name off the top of my head. Very hard to say without seeing it in person, did your light kit have a blue & white wire? If so, did you connect the blue wire with the black wire in the wire but & the white wire with the other white wires in the wire nut? Thanks for watching Michelle & Subscribe to the channel 👍

@@ApartmentMaintenance ceiling fan has a light above the blades that doesn't give much light. Attaching a light kit below the blades but find that we can only attach white to white and black to blue which controls the new light and the fan at the same time. Is this OK? Thanks

@@kenpaquin4943 Obviously I can't say for sure without seeing it myself. But from my experience that's how most fan lights wire up. The light kit wires are black & white, & inside the fan there is usually 2 wires not used that are for hooking up to a light & they usually are blue & white. Sometimes they will have plastic over them with wire nuts or a rubber band wrapping them together with wire nuts. It just depends on the brand. Your preaching to the choir. A camera can be watching me in every apartment I go into which is fine with me. There isn't anything or any money sitting in someone's home that is worth losing my job over. I have a good job & make damn good money to lose it over something stupid. If there's something I want I would just go buy it. All the camera would see is me fixing the problem on the work order that the resident requested. I film repairs for several reasons such as, #1 so my technicians can watch & learn & do the task at hand if I'm not at the property #2 upload on youtube to help other technicians or DIY'ers, #3 doucmentation of my work & that it was completed & proof That's exactly what I was there to do and only did.
