Overall this door is very nice and affordable compared to glass companies. I would suggest .. avoid using the garbage screws for mounting the hinges that come with the kit... I purchased a higher grade stainless screw.

The hinges come pre-set from the factory for an outward swing, which is the recommended use, but they can be adjusted to allow for both inward and outward swing. Your instruction manuals featuring multiple models are highly confusing and difficult to follow. I just spent 30 minutes trying to find a bottom strip that didn't exist, including digging through our trash pile, because the version we received has a foot lug in one corner of the fixed panel. Seriously disappointed with both this video and the written instruction. Instructions should be model specific.... Not one size fits all!
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry for your difficulties. The manuals and the videos are in fact model-specific. There are several Unidoor videos available on RU-vid and it seems you may have been better served by the Unidoor with Support Shelves or even the Unidoor LS videos, both of which show the install of the bottom bracket on the inline panel. The Unidoor Plus - a completely different model - uses U-Channel on the panel. Your comment seems to indicate that is what you were seeing. We're looking at ways to make video selection easier. This is not true we are installing our dream line currently and the manual does cover a variety of models making it very confusing. We first thought we received the wrong door. The door is beautiful but directions could use a bit of a makeover to make things easier for the installer.

Hello, we apologize for any confusion but the vinyl is supposed to be installed inside the U-channel. This will protect the bottom edge of the stationary glass from any sort of direct contact with the metal U-channel when the panel is installed. The roll of vinyl stripping should be cut into 2 inch pieces and you should place those little 2 inch strips inside the U-channel along the bottom so that the glass panel will rest on top of the vinyl strips instead of sitting directly on top of the metal U-channel. The placement of these vinyl strips is shown in the video around 9:49. The model I have matches the video, however I'm unclear on the instructions at 7:10 into the video when the narrators says to "measure out 3/16" from the vertical edge of the glass". Should the U-channel stick out 3/16" beyond the vertical edge of the glass, or does the glass stick out 3/16" from the U-channel?

The mark should be made on the bottom UChannel, 3/16” away from the vertical edge of the Door Glass, providing space between the two lites of glass. That will become the cut mark for the bottom UChannel and should end up being flush with the vertical edge of the panel glass. I will never buy these models again . The manuals are confusing and not for the correct models and I’ve done two of these models . I would never buy again .
