How to install a GM flex fuel sensor with Hondata s300v3
How to run e85 or any fuel.
Parts needed:
Flex fuel sensor
2.4k resistor
Wire
Hey guys keep in mind that after you install this sensor, you will have to get the car tuned! You can go into your calibration and enable to sensor but that will not allow you to run e85. Ignition and fuel tables have to be changed!
Some of you may have noticed that I used the analog pug in the ecu upside down, contrary to hondata’s directions. I prefer this orientation because the plug doesn’t hang on the analog pins rattling and wobbling around...solid motor mounts. I suggest mimicking this; it works either direction. Installed this on my fully built turbo prelude.

You were tuned by rolo correct ? I’m the guy years ago Anderson from the advanced auto palmyra store he had FaceTimed me and showed me your car lol you revved it for us ! F20b? I have the red 01 Bb6 ! H22a4 will it work the same ?

Small world! Initially it was tuned by innovative motorsports in Carlise but due to the EPA stepping in…I had to go to an underground tuner as Innovative doesn’t tune OBD1 anymore. F20b with a bunch of H22 parts as they are interchangeable. You need a to have an aftermarket tunable ecu for this to be compatible…and a big wallet if you go with hondata as usually tuners charge more for building separate fuel tables. Some of the more modern ecu’s can do this automatically though.

Hey man I wanna run flex fuel on my integra. What type of fuel filter do I need to use? Or can I run the OEM one? Thanks

Joseph Phengsy you need to use a flex fuel rated fuel filter...this can be a flex fuel filter from another car or buy one off eBay. You want something that is under 35 microns. So 35-25-10 something around there.

Don't you need a 2.4 ohm resistor for the s300 v3

When u say fully built h22 I’m guessing u have sleeves
@thestateofreal2533

Nope, most Honda engines don’t need sleeves ($1200) until you break into the 35+ psi range or shooting for a lot more displacement. If the engine is an open deck block, have a CSS block guard installed ($500+) for cylinder stability under load OR do what I do and use Devcon F2 epoxy ($140) as your block guard. Closed deck blocks due a little better under load as they have cylinder support from the top. When people say that you need to sleeve H22 it’s due to their lack of understanding of thermo dynamics. The FRM bores in an H22 do not expand as much as common iron sleeves due to heat. H22 you just want to use a piston made from 4032 billet aluminum as its linear expansion rate is much lower than the common 2618 OR run wider piston to wall clearance with the 2618. People buy the moly gold and drop them down the whole without checking piston to wall clearance or bore out of round or taper and have issues and blame the h22 FRM.

CRAZYTOOLZZ Why do you think so?
@CrazyToolzz

@@thestateofreal2533 because there's if you look at the analog inputs you see to grounds side by side. And on the pig tail you'll also find 2 black wire's side by side. Plus if you check the hondata website you'll see it says AN0 is a red wire.

CRAZYTOOLZZ Nice! What I have found in the long run is inverting the plug allows the analog plug to fit lower on the ecu and prevents it from hanging and wobbling on these input/out pins. That’s the only reason I do it that away and not per hondatas directions. It works fine either way but you will find that a lot of other people do it this way in order to prevent breaking the analog pins off.

CRAZYTOOLZZ I guess I should have mentioned that in my video so people understand my reasoning. I will put it in the description. Thanks!
