How to Install a Golf Hitting Strip!

This is how I installed the EZ Tee Hybrid hitting strip into my Country Club Elite (CCE) golf mat. It was not very difficult and recommend anyone who has elbow pain or wrist pain from using the CCE mat to install a softer hitting mat. There are three softer hitting mats available: EZ Tee Hybrid, SigPro Soft and the Holy Grail. I chose the EZ Tee Hybrid which is perfect thickness and accepts real tees. Enjoy!

It was hard to cut my Rawhide mat too. Mine is still a little bit too tight so I need to trim. I do love my EZ Tee Hybrid though. Most realistic that I have hit.

I love the EZ Tee Hybrid as well. But yes very hard to cut. Might use something different next time lol

Great install. Does the insert mat move or come out when hitting ? Or did you apply some kind of adhesive? Thanks

Thanks! the insert mat does not come out or move when hitting. If I hit a really really fat one sometimes the mat will come up like just a little and I just tap down on it and it goes flat. It did come with some tape so I might use that on the bottom. Not sure yet. Thanks for watching!

Hello, did the elbow pain go away after installing the EZ Tee Hybrid? I have a CCE hitting strip now and I have developed elbow pain.

Yes it did! I no longer have elbow pain or wrist pain. I am currently making a new video on that since ive installed that hitting strip my elbows are great!

In hindsight, what do you recommend to cut through the CCE mat more easily?

Id probably use a dremel and use a cutting attachment.

What is the height of the pad you used? I'm looking to do this to my CCE

I think it’s either 1/4” or 3/8” pad brings the level up perfect

Is your orange balance board in the background worth using?

Yes it is. It really helped me keep my weight forward. I was hitting fat way too much and this device keeps my weight forward to compress the ball correctly.
