excellent vacuum idea!!! i generally just keep blowing the dust off the cut line.. and as someone with no garage or proper work space better than my kitchen.. my apartment thanks you! my neighbors... probably not so much!
Watched your floor install, nice skills, I went to subscribe and found that your a VW guy, I have a MK2 myself so that explains the good workmanship and skills. Really the finished product is excellent.
Installed these on a house (2000 sq feet room) and the only thing I can say is u did one thing incorrect. They a tool and a mallet like object meant to hammer in these planks together so theres no gap whatsoever and so that you dont need to glue these pieces together to get that finish and down the line if u need to take pieces out to replace or do some wiring its easier to pull apart. Otherwise cool video.
have you had any problems with the flooring unlocking when throwing things on top of it? I have been planning to do this to the rear of my bronco but the floors are ribbed so im going to need to fill the space. just curious if you get any flex or disconnect with added weight.
there's a spare tire and some hard foam supporting it in the Golf, so it doesn't flex. Plus it's fairly tight fit so it doesn't come apart unless you try to take it apart
