Just a couple of tips anytime you run wires thru holes in metal always put some type of protectant on the wire. I mean anything around the wire where it goes thru the metal. The biggest problem is you didn’t put a fuse at the battery. The way you did it is a possible wire that melts down and catches fire. Don’t get me wrong it’s a very informative video but those to things need to be addressed if you continue to make install videos
Thank You For Making This Video. I Want to Install a Motohorn in My ‘21 Silverado and Connect it To The Factory Horn. GREAT Video, Exactly What I Was Looking For!
Thank you for posting this video; I found it very helpful. I just installed a Motohorn in my Silverado yesterday, and I'm very happy with how it turned out!
@@deerslayer16ga14 I didn't take any pics, but I mounted the horn on the driver side wall of the engine compartment, alongside the fuse box. I used one existing hole and drilled an additional one. I mounted the compressor on the same wall, but on the opposite side, inside the quarter panel. I again used am existing hole. It was a tight fit getting my arm inside the quarter panel, but you'll see plenty of space in there for it, once you remove the headlight assembly. I mounted the relay using an existing hole near the space provided for an additional battery, which my truck doesn't have. Hope that helps!
@@jeffbowen4600 basically i did the same thing , just have to hook up to the horn wire , started to pour rain so had to stop install . love the moto horn have them on motorcycle and two other trucks.
Not bad, but can i add a couple pointers for a safer and longer lasting effect? 1. Fuse that cable from the battery. ALWAYS. 2. Either put wite loom on all cables to protect them from chaffing or use electronic shrink tubes where all wires connect. (Butt connectors, etc.) Overall, not bad.
@@joshuakoopmann9730 yes, I did. These are air horns, definitely not train horns. This video is just to sell bullshit mislabeled crap that you can buy at a parts store or harbor freight for a fraction of the price. Even my WOLO Siberian express horn isn’t really a train horn but sounds more like one than this bullshit
