I met a guy in Northern Minnesota that mounted a real train horn on the roof of his truck. You could hear it from miles away cuz it was a real train horn!!

I have a 2010 Escalade ESV with the wussiest horn I have ever heard on a truck, let alone an Escalade. Can't wait to get this horn hooked up! Thanks for the tutorial, especially the affect it had on a driver who fell asleep at the wheel. That was priceless!!!

I already have the second battery in that tray. I also like the triple diesel locomotive horn kit for mine. I installed the air tank just ahead of the lower radiator support just behind the front bumper. The compressor got mounted in another location down on the frame.

Will this work for a 2007 Nissan xterra

I had truck horns on my 4wd. blue slip for my 4wd for a safety check and did not pass rego because I had truck horns hooked up to it. because I didn't have a separate button on it.

Plus u can hook an air hose to the tamk and air up your tires when needed.

I've never installed one but would like to on an 2007 Nissan xterra

At 8:24 you mention only wire left is switched power for the relay. Do you mean for the pressure switch? You already powered the relay, correct?

If you wait 10 more seconds after the light turns green it will turn a little bit more Green. That's why so many people are still sitting there after the light turns green. Meanwhile some people are ok with the first shade of green and are ready to go. Since they were already waiting when the light was red

Trains have three horns on them. And sorry to say but those just sound like a horn off a real truck. Maybe drive something other than a Chevy and you wouldn’t have to waste money on air horns. Blow them at me and I would drag you out of that truck. But good instructional video.

Some young guy in the UK put a really loud horn on his 4x4, loved making people jump at crossings... he ended up getting pulled out of his vehicle and re-educated with the business end of a steel-toecapped boot for frightening someones elderly mother. Now, I don't agree with violence ... but if some idiot catches me on a migraine day with a train horn, I WILL destroy them and claim involuntary action : ) There's a point at which 'effective' becomes 'damaging'. The horn is to let other road users know you're there - not to vent anger or force compliance with your schedule. Harassing other motorists causes accidents and it's just obnoxious and antisocial beyond a certain threshold... not to mention harmful to pedestrians hearing. I have autism... harass me and I'm going to have my ears covered for 10 minutes and you ain't going nowhere. Not because it takes me 10 minutes to recover, but because it credibly 'might'... and so I can! Your trip just ended - come assault me further for my vehicle cam and I'll have that nice car off you in court. Some people don't put up with this shit.
