How to install fertilizer spikes & how they work. 

I wear boots and even a cowboy hat at times working on my property here in Calaveras County CA. Several acres to tend to but god damn I’m gonna get me one then knee pads (San Francisco Slippers) lol but great vid. I use the fruit spikes for my top of the property grapes/peaches//persimmons/cherries/olives/walnuts/pomegranates/figs/apples and hell even my raspberries, the blackberries down by the pond fuck man even with the deer and bear I still have surplus with making cobbler like a fat kid. I agree with you friend. It's not rocket science. Put the spikes near the shrubs or trees.... they get fertilized and do well for the plant. Great video!

If you have clay. soil the spikes break up- Better to use 3 ft long galvanized pipe and a mall hammer to first make the hole then no-bounce hammer to install the spikes

Great video! Love that you do this stuff with your son! I planted a row of 25 green giant arborviates this June. I am going to put one of these in between every shrub in the spring...or should I do one spike for each one? They are still small.

Would rather see more of the types of bushes. Can't use these on some bushes like azaleas. Not clear on using these although I will find out more about them as it's a lot easier to use these.
