I just installed this on my 2016 FZ07 and it was as easy as demonstrated here and their relay works great, no adjustment necessary but it's cool that you can change it if you want to.

hi love your video but I have a ?? for u I have a 08 Yamaha warrior and got a xblaster tail light and got a led relay now I unplugged the oem relay and it's 5 wire and the led relay only has two tried pluging it in and nothing work so I but the oem one back in and now my turn signal is lose and doesn't work any ideas

Hi , I have a fz8 2011, i have changed the indicators to sequential lights but when they are on, the lights only goes half way along the light, Iv been told it needs a new relay, could you tell me which on i would need ??, do you sell them ?? and where it is situated on Fazer 800 ...Thanks in advance

Hi, first off I'd like to say these how-to videos are really great and concise; making it easy to understand for someone who doesn't have experience with this sort of thing. My question is this: I'll be installing an integrated tail light from another company that has a resistor built into the wiring already, and a pair of front signals with separate resistors. I'd like to avoid using the resistors for the front signals as space is tight in that area of the bike. Will it cause any issues to use the built-in resistor on the tail light as well as a flasher relay? Or should I open up the wiring for the tail light and try to remove the resistor? Due to the "plug and play" aspect of the included wiring harness it would be easiest for someone like me to just use the included resistor even if it isn't necessary (once the relay is installed), however I wasn't sure if this would cause any issues. Thanks!

I do not recommend using a relay on a signaling system that has resistors connected. You can modify your taillight harness pretty easily though. Since the resistors are connected in parallel to the signal circuit, you can just get in there and cut out the resistors.

Sorry to bother again, but wanted to make certain I don't make any mistakes before I blow a fuse or something silly. Each set of signal wires has two wires; one yellow and one black. The yellow wire connects to the existing wiring in the taillight assembly and runs along into a cap-like end that will mate with the existing wiring inside the bike. About 1/3 of the way along the yellow wire is where the resistors are crimped in, and a black wire comes out the other side of the resistor and into the cap-like end. There are 3 spots within the cap end; one has the yellow wire, one has the black wire, and one is empty. My question is when I cut out the resistors do i need to keep this black wire intact and part of the circuit? Or can I safely remove it entirely?

Hi there - Based on research and knowledge we have in the US, I believe your MT-07 uses a 2-pin relay but I highly suggest locating your OEM relay to verify that.

You can check the configuration of your flasher relay. More and more Euro models nowadays use this configuration relay so there is a good chance we will be able to get you going. If you send the photo of the relay plug configuration to our support staff through our website we will be able to make that determination.

My rear blinkers have a resistor, but I couldn't fit the resistors in behind the headlight with all the stock wiring and my LED headlight mod. So will I be able to use this as is, or will I need to take out the resistors in the rear?

Take out any resistors and simply install our relay. One solution for the whole bike.

I am not doing this right now lol I just finished the TST led tail light and fender eliminator install I don't have the patience for this (sad right?). Maybe when it comes time to install the power commander

TSTindustries I actually have grown a bit fond of the faster flashing lights I might dial it back a bit but before they were so slow that when I would glance down to see if my blinker was on I would catch it in between a blink and think it was off when in fact it was still on.

Are there separate relay inserts for the front and rear flash lights or is it just the one shown in the video at the front of the bike? i'm asking because I installed the TSTindustries from flashers but i also have a rear integrated back light from another company, so will the rear intergrated light be affect by the flash relay from TSTind.??

the entire signaling system is controlled by the one relay shown. If your taillight came with resistors do not use them.

Not installing yet, but will not adding relay at this time effect the bike in any way? operational wise?

The only difference in operation is that when you power up the signal for the first time after turning the bike on it will take one cycle's worth of time for the signal lamp to light up. After the capacitors inside are charged it is immediate.

Not adding the relay will not affect your bike in any negative mechanical way. Your signal flash rate will be sped up or you may even see an instance where you're signals or always on or always off. Yes it will. One relay corrects and controls your entire signal circuit.

Hi I'm using Yamaha xmax 250 there are two main led light for my rear motorcycle, I bought a led flasher relay and put at the left light, it works fine and blinking when i put the brake on but i didn't start the engine. I didn't put another flasher relay one on the other side When i try to switch the engine on the fuse blows and i can't even start my engine? Why is this happening n how do i fix these?

There is only one flasher relay for the entire bike. This is how signaling systems are on all bikes. There is no need for multiple interruptor relays. You must have some electrical wiring issues there. I would suggest that you get a wiring diagram for your bike and verify that your lighting system is wired according to the diagram.

This is the verified installation method on the North American spec FZ-07. If you are located outside of North America, we would still recommend following this installation process although there may be a chance your relay is in a different location on the bike.

If you are swapping both your front and rear signals to LEDs, you will most likely need a relay to correct your signal rate.

TstRelay installed. Motograves front led blinkers and tst integrated tail light. I can adjust the speed, But the indicator lights on the dash stay solid green. All blinkers flash when hazard is on.. I can hit the left signal and both lights come on and I can hit the right signal and they come on. I had leds In the rear with resistors before the install and it worked fine. Any idea how to fix this?

I would like to know more about your front signals. It is most likely an error in wiring in your front signals that is casing your problem. If you are using a set of single circuit signals but have wired them in a way that they retained the running light function then this is your problem for sure.

You can purchase this part but I would suggest that you check if it will fit your bike. You will have to look at the part on your bike and ensure that the plug geometry is the same as the one in the video. If not then this part will not work for you.

@@TSTindustries I've got a 21' model, and it's no longer the same. there is no 2 or 3 pin connection like your video shows. It's 4 pin. Very annoying as nobody currently has a video on how to do it for the revised model.

@@jackwalker355 in the American market, on the bikes we have surveyed, there is no flasher relay on the 21+ model. Replacement LED signals work without tripping out the signaling circuit and you have one less part to have to buy

During the testing phase for this product about 9 years ago we considered weather resistance as a potential design parameter. In our study we determined that these units mount in places that don't experience direct water spray. They also mostly mount with the plug side down so any water that may accumulate on top will fall past the mating surfaces of housing and connector cap. With tens of thousands of units in service around the world we have not heard back from customers having water related issues with their TST relay.
