Very well explained. Much better than most instructional videos. I am installing the exact same door tomorrow. I can do it, no problem, but watching your video gave me some very good tips. The instructions that come with the door are okay but not great. Your video cleared some things up for me.
Thank you for this video. My original installer did not install it correctly and I always wondered why the doors keep coming off the rails ? Your video showed the proper installation.
Life saver moved into my new home and previous owner removed door and had a curtain due to breakage. I bought the same door followed your step by step and bam new door in and hour
I just installed a Maxx surround tub/shower and the versa double glass door...nightmare...one of the panels was damaged and obviously fixed but was slightly warped ..the customer couldn't return it so had to install...they even had the logo stickers upside down...I did it...but not a fan of Maxx products.
You mentioned using a rubber gasket for threshold, but that would require screws to hold it tight and in place. The caulk is a sealer and adhesive, so it also holds it in place. On the top of the jamb, that "header lock" goes behind the jamb (you should put it in place before putting the screw through the bumper and jamb). I just installed the exact same model, and the written instructions aren't very thorough.
I just had these doors installed and the morons never tightened the rollers they just left them loose that's why my doors keep getting out of alignment.
Ear protection just bc a guy is cutting metal, haha...clearly you've n😊t been on a lot of jobsites, if any. No one I've worked with complained about an annoying compressor, generator or even the gunshot of a Ramset...yeah basically a . 22 round going off inside of a bathroom only it's a nail instead of a bullet..the only "PPE" anyone bothers with are gloves and a mask or respirator if needed.
