Do you have a link to the baseboard? Having a hard time finding any that are a "little less" than 1/2 thick.

When nailing the side trim, you should hold your nail gun 90 degrees to minimize nail blowout. Otherwise great job.

It looks like your header is proud of the side trim. Does that mean you used a thicker material for the header piece?

Yes, the header is about 3/4" thick and the casing is about 9/16" to 5/8" thick.

WTF is "modern farmhouse"? Nothing about Farmhouse is modern and nothing about that basic and poorly installed trim is modern. Also, learn how to properly cut with a sliding miter saw.
