I love reading all the, "why do you have to...?" comments. As well as the, "I'll pay $1200 at the dealer." Get a book, watch a video. Great video, by the way. You make it look easy.
I have a 2012 Ultra Limited that I bought 3 weeks ago. The previous owner was short and installed 2" drops which is too low for me. I want a set of 10" bars like in this video, but Harley wanted 1200 including the install.
So what your saying is that a new brake line connected at the ABS module will not introduce air into the line? Just bleed from the front calipers to the master cylinder?
That's what I thought, too. No wonder he had to take off the tank. He was doing some stuff that was confusing and didn't provide the reasoning behind it
I have to do a bar adjustment on a 15 street glide. Is there enough room to get to the back 2 clamp bolts by just splitting the batwing? Never done one that new. Btw my personal bike is all HC. Ordered from you all yrs back when whole area was flooded.
+Gage Click there are already holes in your hand controls to put n mirrors like a Softail has. You just need to cover up the holes in your fairing when you take those mirrors ofg
+Streetglide40S&W if we wire them up, it will be a 1 piece harness, so there is no connection inside the handlebars that could come out later down the road
Hi can you help me out with something.. if I decide to go with the 10” bars would I still need to adjust the clutch cable and do what you did to the brakes ?
So if I purchased same exact bars without the pre-wiring (I’d use existing on ‘21 Street Glide Special), would that work using existing lines? I’m just trying to forgo the brake bleeding etc. it seems like that would be easier to me. No?
I wish I would've gotten a road king instead of a street glide... that fairing is a pain in my ass. I've had it off twice. The first time really was a shit show, but 2nd time wasn't so bad. I have cable clutch and no abs, so not as much of a pain
What kind of seat is that..my 08 is stock..no back support at all..that looks nice and high for my back.. Would love to know if they make one like that for my 08street glide
After watching this , I'm glad I have a Road King. My goodness working on the exhaust just to put handle bars on , ggg. Harley would want 3000.00 to do this job, gg Drink a bottle of Crown Royal first then you'll have the bag for the master cylinder.
Thank you bro, this video very helpfull... Anyway, may i know, if using 14" handlebar, how many cm i must use clutch hydraulic cable? How many cm i must use brake cable? Please your advice 🙏
Outstanding Video, thanks for sharing....I want those Monkey Bars for my 17 SG. Would the processes you used for your SG be the same for my 17 SG? Thank you.
+Joseph L. Moskaly Yes, it would be identical. We have the monkeys bars in stock for that bike as well. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach. Thanks for watching.
I have 08 streetglide..do they have plug and ride for that..? I went through this with a friend..I got the 13" rounded bars..he talked me out of doing the meat cleavers because harder to pull wires. Im at very least novice..but Ive had fairing off twice..I think the hardest thing for me would be brakes.
Hello, would like to know if you could install a set a 10 inch Paul Y Handlebars? And if I could make it on a day where I could ride down and you do it While I wait? Can I make appointment and what kind of price thank you you can PM me if you’d like
Sorry can you explain why you need to all that extra work by changing all brake, clutch lines , etc... ? While simply we can just get the handle bar and use the existing lines and harness up to 14” bars. Please explain why all that extra work to make a simple handle bar change so complicated!
this is a great video, but i am sure this guy has done so many, that he can do this in his sleep, and makes it look a LOT easier than it is. THIS is the difference between a "pro" and an "amatuer" in my opinion, for such a critical "life or death" component, if you don't REALLY know what you are doing (or have a tutor with you), i would NOT fuck with this as an experiment. the $$ or so you will pay a professional, will be WELL worth the peace of mind!
+Mark you should probably check our website, but they usually run $1200-$1300. Keep in mind, all the wiring is a 1 piece harness and guaranteed against defects. It also comes with a new throttle sensor installed.
