Awesome was waiting for one of these not sure how i missed it up till now but it showed up in my vods to watch. only think i would add to this video would be a before and after shot to show the difference. Thanks again mine is in the mail :)

the license plate light came with crimped plug ends without the plug housing. do those crimp ends plug into the factory housing or are they the wrong size for this and the cut and buttsplice the only way to do this project?

If you know how to depinn a wire connector you could repinn the bullet connectors and have a factory looking connection. The easiest way would be what he has done. You could probably eliminate the factory plug and just use bullet connectors on both sides if you wanted, or even hard wire it right into the harness. This method in the video is probably the easiest and fastest way.
