really suprised you didn't add any outlets to the counter before installing the tile. I have like 5 in mine...which makes it a lot more challenging...but like my power outlets! Great job - looks beautiful

We are going to be installing this exact same backsplash in our kitchen! Thank you so much for the video!!! We got some great tips! Your backsplash turned out so beautiful! This is an amazing natural stone pattern! The funny this is that my house leans more towards the browns so I’ll be removing all the dark grays and keeping the browns. We could have switched!!! 😂 I hope ours turns out just as nice. You two did a terrific job, love the teamwork I saw in your video!

What kind of prepping do you do on the walls before installing the backsplash?

I’m ocd and I would have made where the tiles meet in the corner of both walls line up better. Them being that little bit off bothers me allot.

Do you just use water and sponge to clean the residue after you let it sit for 24 hours? Someone had told me vinegar helps?

How do you know where to put the spacers? We are in the process of buying all the stuff to do this exact backsplash!!

Did you caulk around the sides, tops and bottoms?

We used grout caulk along countertops but the sides and top filled nicely with regular grout

No outlet to go around makes it that much easier...try it in a kitchen with 8 outlets. Then you will have to expand them to put the plates on as well.
