In this video, I show you how to install universal passenger armrests on a motorcycle pannier. I love to take my kids on motorcycle rides - I think they enjoy it just as much as I do. As a parent, I'm concerned about their safety while riding, especially with my younger and small kids since their arms can't wrap around my waist easily. I looked into several contraptions to assist them, however felt that some armrests would serve the best general purpose to help them stay on the bike during our trips.
When ordering these on eBay, they took about a month to ship in from China - and by the looks of the photos they didn't seem to be too secure. Upon taking them out of the shipping box, I could tell they needed to be modified and reinforced to work properly. Some aluminum plating and superglue seemed to be the best solution - and as of the posting of this video it seems to be holding up for the time being.
