Installing today. This one is so much simpler than all of the other ones that I have watched. Thank you so much. I was so nervous, but now I'm ready. Just gotta get some masking tape. Have everything else. Going to follow ur directions to a T. 🤗🌹
For whoever it helps, I've been through a couple of the gloss yellow vinyl stripes. Had them on Mercedes Obsidian Black and Mercedes Selenite Gray Magno for 1 year 3 months and 1year 1 month respectively before taking them off. Both cars were parked outside all the time in direct sunlight, as well as snow and rain. Vinyl came off spotless, no fade, no residue after a wipe down with alcohol. Now I'm applying silver and gold for a change, but you can trust these guys! Oracal 651 is used for the gloss colors, and 3m Scotchcal 50 is used for the metallic colors. To uninstall you can simply peel off as long as the temps are greater than 65 degrees pretty easily. For even more ease, pour some warm water to bring it to 75-85 degrees or use a heatgun. Don't leave on longer than a year roughly to be safe!
Great installation video for proper and professional step by step process, had to mute it tho. The back ground music was overtaking the instructer's voice and distracting.
Is it a different sticker from the wrapping paper? After disinfecting with alcohol, water is used instead of primer adhesion promoter, is it right to use water?
Thank you for the video but I couldn't hear the talking sound, the music is too loud, don't think the music is required for the instruction type of clip because we need to focus on the message you're explaining.
Great video tutorial! I never knew to use water when applying graphics. I would just line up, peel back, and lay it down. Had I used some clean water, I could have avoided a few air bubbles I think. Thanks for sharing this.
I will say it again People that play music when they are TRYING to explain how to do something is BS People cant hear you for one and the Music is Distracting for two so I will find another Channel that can do a better Job with out the Music.
I'm thinking about applying racing stripes on my car but it's a on PCP, basically in 3 years I hand it back in and have 3 option 1) keep the car and continue my monthly payments 2) trade it in for a upgrade or 3) hand it in and walk away. So yeah the car is mine in a way but after 3 years I will be taking it back in and the garage want the car back as it was from the factory so can't leave anything on but you can remove the vinyl car wraps easily. I'm just concerned about it leaving a faded mark where the strips were, my car is white it's a 2013 plate. You recommend replacing stripes yearly? Thanks.
Since you've done this before, I have a question, or anyone seeing this can answer. How long do you protect the car after stripe installation? Like should I keep it out of the rain or sun or not use the vehicle altogether to give the vinyl time to full adhere to the car?
Illusions GFX I just ordered a bumper to bumper stripe kit for my 2017 dodge challenger. do you have anyone near Southwest Virginia to do the installation?
OMG what's up with the new age music drowning out the narrator? If I listen to this when I'm falling asleep, will I wake up and subliminally know how to install racing stripes? Please post this without the music.
I liked the info but, I found myself repeatedly distracted by my minds desperate attempts to make sense of, or imagine some plausible explanation .... as to what on earth the person who added the background track could have been thinking
