question? my 2017 nissan maxima has apple carplay but i own a samsung phone, in which at the moment my car doesnt support android auto. will this device since i do have apple carplay in my factory radio, will it allow me to use android auto with this device?

You are correct, this is a 2014 that is retrofitted with an HMI from my good friends at White Automotive Media Services. This is a 100% OEM retrofit into my truck, works flawless.
