Hello Chariot drivers!
Thank you for checking out my humble little RU-vid channel. The video shows a flight (sortie) of about 2.5 hours compressed to 10 minutes, which a buddy of mine and I did about one week ago. Due to a corrupted file, I was not to be able to show cinematic camera angles after the 30 minute mark of raw footage. Although I considered splitting the video into two separate parts, I decided to combine these two in the end. You will recognize the change in tempo though :)
That night we were guided to our destination by a human-controlled GCI. In the video, his calling was "Magic." We attempted to answer his calls and were tasked with taking out a SAM site about 80km from our home plate. During this sortie we were attacked by 3 helicopters and a fixed wing aircraft. Not all of these encounters made it into the final edit, however.
The footage you are viewing was recorded on Enigma's Cold War Server which I am grateful for making this type of experience possible. Also, I got a lot of inspiration from Ryu1940, a RU-vid creator whose videos are really great. Please check out their channels. link below.
I was hopefully able to combine the two parts into one video in a entertaining way.
