evap issues will cause excess fuel consumption. napa has better prices on some stuff,,not all.po446 is my code.

I got a similar issue like yours but mine stalls when doing a remote start. I pluggedbin my obdII scanner and it pointed out to a bad evap purge valve. It was covered by the warranty. Dealer will be replacing it today. This is just 4 years old with 117k km. I think this is pretty common with vehicles nowadays.

my 2011 chevy camaro SS does the same thing after refueling. Even if I can start engine with applying throttle, transmission doesn't shift more than 3 and check engine comes on with Crankshaft position sensor fault message. I believe that it's a purge valve issue. And never buy Dorman parts, they are a Chinese junk

Same shit with my car. 2015 fusion titanium 2.0 EcoBoost. Gives off a funny smell as well right after the stall and revving to turn it on.

I don't know if the replacement of the purge valve worked out, but I had a similar problem at the Colorado and I replace the Camshaft position sensor...the rpm stabilize and it stop to happen....try to check it out.... I hope that everything was solved for your car... Thanks for sharing.

Hi Hello A very important question They changed spark plugs in my car and as soon as they started the car after the change I started making noises from the purge valve. I changed to a new one and I still have a ticking noise from the valve What could be the reason? What causes the valve to make noises Could it be that they changed spark plugs and didn't connect something? Because in the Impala, to replace the spark plugs, do you disassemble the intake manifold?

My 2007 audi a4 the idle goes up and down between 1 and 0 rpm when I turned it on then the engine shakes could it be the purge valve or pvc vavle because it whistles

I have the same problem in a 2013 Ford Focus SE. it would do this and also only sometimes when driving coming to a complete stop once I get down to about 25-20mph it go from idling at like 1,500 rpm to 400 rpm and shut off once I’m fully stopped. After owning for a little over a month I was driving on the interstate and it felt like i ran out of gas so I pulled over, it acted normal, I merged back over, and once I got to 45 it did the same thing but when i stopped it shut off and hasn’t worked since. Any thoughts? Sorry this is so long lmao I’m just desperate for an answer
